Preparations for the Easter Long Weekend

Prepartion for the easter long weekend

Happy Easter Motherhood and Hive! As Easter weekend nears families across the globe embrace the spirit of renewal and togetherness. My family and I embarked on a delightful outing heading out for some much needed haircuts followed by indulging in the flavors of local street food.

In Australia we have a long weekend to celebrate so we decided it was the perfect time for a family grooming session. The anticipation of a fresh look filled the air as we headed to our favorite local barba and to pick up some chocolate easter eggs for our easter egg hunt tomorrow.

Little bloke used to be scared of getting his hair cut but his grown so much and now looks forward to it and oftwn will ask me to take him to get his hair cut if i leave it too long.

We worked up our appetites as we strolled through the bustling shops drawn by the irresistible aromas wafting from food stalls. Our first stop a crepe pop up store adorned with colorful umbrellas and the inviting scent of freshly made batter.

Australia's street food culture has been growing rapidly but we have specialised food trucks and small stores along parks and high traffic areas.

As we placed our orders excitement rippled through my kids. From classic Nutella-filled crepes to savory combinations of cheese and vegetables each bite was a symphony of flavors. The kids giggled with delight, their faces smeared with chocolate and happiness.

We then headed to the local park for a bit of fun amongst the gum trees along side the creek which has become a local meeting point for many familes and friends to have BBQs and build memories.

We finished off the day with some fish and chips and i can not explaine how great this store is, unlike the new modern stores that use bought chips in bulk. This store still uses hand cut potatoes which provide an amazing feed.

It brought back so many childhood memories and we had a wonderful time as we prepare to have fun with the kids this easter.
