Hago realidad el mejor regalo para mi mamá.
Muy pronto se celebrará el día de la madre, ese momento especial que tenemos para conmemorar todo ese amor y cuidados que nos brindado durante años. Mi madre es una mujer especial, fuerte y trabajadora, no considera una plancha o unos platos como regalo, para ella eso es un insulto, porque ella es mucho más que los quehaceres del hogar, ella también es una mujer hermosa y femenina, así que el regalo que decidí darle este año representa eso. Decidí regalarle una cartera o bolso de dama.
¿Por qué decidí hacerle este regalo?
Hace unos meses estábamos caminando por un centro comercial y como siempre estábamos viendo tiendas (solo mirando, no siempre podemos comprar jajajaja) en eso pasamos por una vitrina con unas carteras de dama, mi mamá comenta que le gustó mucho una en color negro con marrón, le pregunté si pasábamos y me dijo "no, ya es muy tarde". Después en otra oportunidad me comentó que le gustaría cambiar de bolso ya que los que tiene están gastados y maltratados.
Como buena hija me puse en marcha, empecé a buscar por internet carteras para realizarle el regalo a mi mamá, pero todas pasaban por mucho mi presupuesto, por casualidad volví a pasar por la tienda del centro comercial al que fuimos, pregunto por el precio y a mí sorpresa, era la mitad del precio de lo más barato y feo que había conseguido hasta ahora, no me lo creía, esa tienda se veía súper cara y ¡tremenda oferta me encontré!!, lastimosamente no podía comprarla al momento. Pasé en contra ocasión con el dinero ya reunido y en mano, debía comprar el regalo ese día ya que era domingo en semana flexible y el lunes comenzaría la semana de restricción nuevamente (en Venezuela implementaron una ley en cuál comúnmente una semana pueden abrir todos los comercios y la otra solo los que vendan comida y medicina), pero cuando entro a la tienda no estaba, pensé ¡nada, la vendieron!!
Busqué por toda la tienda y no la encontraba, estaban otras al mismo precio pero la que sé que amaría no.
Una vendedora me observa y se da cuenta que busco algo en específico y me pregunta que estoy buscando, le respondo que una cartera de tal forma ( pasé como 3 minutos explicando cómo era la que buscaba y repetí como 5 veces que ya la vendieron), en eso la vendedora me dice, "pero tranquila de seguro está guardada porque ayer hicimos cambio de mercancía", mis ojos de iluminan y me lleno de esperanza, la vendedora entra en el almacén y sale con 2 carreras, pero ninguna de las 2 era la que buscaba, le vuelvo a explicar que era como de semi cuero (me deprimí otra vez jajaja), en eso se devuelve y se tarda un minuto y aparece con la cartera, esa que se convertiría en mi regalo perfecto para mamá, esa que me haría su hija favorita jajajaja, pagué casi que temblando ( es que también me sentía pobre en una tienda cara jajajaja), salí de la tienda súper contenta, como si hubiera ganado una batalla, además de una semana de margen para preparar su regalo.
Ahora solo faltaba envolver su regalo. Pasé por otro centro comercial a comprar papel de regalo, recordé que en esa papelería había oferta en papeles hermosos y brillantes, compré del que hacía juego con una cinta que tenía guardada en casa.
Mi batalla campal para envolver el regalo
Envolver este regalo fue mucho más difícil de lo que pensé, los tutoriales en internet solo me daban una idea, al final me tuve que valer de mi propio ingenio para obtener un resultado que me dejara más que conforme.
Paso a paso para envolver el regalo.
Materiales:
Papel de regalo
Cinta adhesiva grande
Cinta decorativa
Tijeras
Silicona líquida
Cuchilla o exacto
Cartulina roja
Marcador Sharpie
Lo primero que realicé fue meter la cartera en una bolsita de tela que está trae, para protegerla y crear un poco más de intriga al momento de abrir su regalo.
Uni ambos pliegos de papel de regalo con silicona líquida, ya que en esa posición era la única forma en la que cubría todo el regalo.
Coloqué la cartera justo en medio de todo el papel.
A los lados realicé unos pequeños pliegues y los uní con cinta adhesiva para irlo envolviendo.
Una vez cubierta la parte de abajo y los lados, procedí a llevar la parte restante del papel hacia adentro del regalo, de manera que se vea más estético.
Todo lo tuve que ajustar en su lugar con cinta adhesiva ya que el papel se resiste a la silicona líquida.
Una vez envuelto el regalo, medí el largo de la cinta decorativa incluyendo el lazo.
Pegué con silicona un punto en la mitad de la cinta justo en medio de la parte trasera del regalo.
Una vez con el lazo y envuelto me dí cuenta que le faltaba algo, así que agregué un poco más de cinta decorativa a la mitad y la pegué nuevamente con silicona líquida.
Tomé una cartulina roja y la convertí en corazón con un mensaje de amor. Con la cuchilla realicé 2 cortes para pasar la cinta decorativa por dentro de este.

I make the best gift for my mom come true.

My mother is a special woman, strong and hardworking, she does not consider an iron or some dishes as a gift, for her that is an insult, because she is much more than housework, she is also a beautiful and feminine woman, so the gift I decided to give her this year represents that. I decided to give her a lady's handbag or purse.
Why did I decide to give her this gift?
A few months ago we were walking through a mall and as always we were looking at stores (just looking, we can not always buy hahahaha) in that we passed by a showcase with some ladies handbags, my mom commented that she really liked one in black with brown, I asked her if we passed and she said "no, it's too late". Later, on another occasion, she told me that she would like to change her purse because the ones she has are worn and battered.
As a good daughter I started to look for handbags on the internet to make the gift to my mom, but all of them were way over my budget, by chance I went back to the store in the mall where we went, I asked for the price and to my surprise, it was half the price of the cheapest and ugliest I had gotten so far, I did not believe it, that store looked super expensive and I found a great offer!!!, unfortunately I could not buy it at the time. I went against time with the money already gathered and in hand, I had to buy the gift that day since it was Sunday in flexible week and Monday would start the restriction week again (in Venezuela they implemented a law in which commonly one week all businesses can open and the other only those that sell food and medicine), but when I entered the store it was not there, I thought "nothing, they sold it!
I looked all over the store and couldn't find it, there were others at the same price but not the one I know I would love.
A saleswoman observes me and realizes that I am looking for something specific and asks me what I am looking for, I answer her that a purse of such a shape (I spent about 3 minutes explaining how it was the one I was looking for and I repeated about 5 times that they already sold it), at that moment the saleswoman tells me, "but calm, for sure it is stored because yesterday we made a change of merchandise", my eyes light up and I am full of hope, the saleswoman enters the store and leaves with 2 races, but none of the 2 was the one I was looking for, I explain her again that it was like semi leather (I got depressed again hahaha), in that she comes back and takes a minute and appears with the purse, the one that would become my perfect gift for mom, the one that would make me her favorite daughter hahahaha, I paid almost shaking (I also felt poor in an expensive store hahahaha), I left the store super happy, as if I had won a battle, plus a week of margin to prepare her gift.
Now all that was left was to wrap her gift. I stopped by another mall to buy wrapping paper, I remembered that stationery store had a sale on beautiful, shiny papers, I bought the kind that matched a ribbon I had saved at home.
My gift wrapping battle
Wrapping this gift was much more difficult than I thought, the tutorials on the internet only gave me an idea, in the end I had to use my own ingenuity to get a result that left me more than satisfied.
Gift wrapping step-by-step.
Materials:
Wrapping paper
Large masking tape
Decorative tape
Scissors
Liquid silicone
Knife or scissors
Red cardboard
Sharpie marker
The first thing I did was to put the wallet in a cloth bag that it comes with, to protect it and create a little more intrigue when opening your gift.
Uni both sheets of wrapping paper with liquid silicone, since in that position it was the only way it would cover the entire gift.
I placed the wallet right in the middle of all the paper.
On the sides I made a few small folds and taped them together to wrap it up.
Once the bottom and sides were covered, I proceeded to bring the remaining part of the paper inside the gift, so that it looks more aesthetically pleasing.
Everything had to be taped in place with tape as the paper resists liquid silicone.
Once the gift was wrapped, I measured the length of the decorative ribbon including the bow.
I silicone glued a dot in the middle of the ribbon right in the middle of the back of the gift.
Once the ribbon was wrapped and wrapped I realized it was missing something, so I added a little more decorative ribbon to the middle and glued it back on with liquid silicone.
I took a red cardboard and turned it into a heart with a love message. With the blade I made 2 cuts to run the decorative ribbon inside this one.
