Hola!, mis queridos amigos hiverianos, cómo la han estado pasando por estos hermosos corredores virtuales de esta increíble plataforma?, un saludo cálido desde la isla, he estado un tanto ausente esta semana pues sucedió lo que menos quería que pasara, si señores, me enfermé de covid-19 y me tomé la semana para dedicarme a mi pronta recuperación, estoy muchísimo mejor gracias a Dios y lo mejor es que mi familia también junto conmigo salimos de una semana oscura llena de susto pero más pudo la esperanza y las ganas de recuperarnos y pues aquí estamos, con ganas de seguir “echándole pierna a la vida”. En este post quiero compartir con ustedes como fue mi experiencia con la primera sopita de mi bebé, tal como les señalé en el título, cabe aclararles que mi bebita de 5 meses últimamente anda muy curiosa con respecto a los alimentos que ingerimos aquí en casa, mi pequeña Kiara solo hasta ahora se alimenta con lactancia materna exclusiva; y dado que mi bebé ha estado muy insistente en probar ciertos alimentos, no dudé en hacerle su primera sopita, le coloque papas, zanahoria y pechuga de pollo, hice una sopilla súper sencilla, se la di a probar en diferentes texturas; primero se la di a probar licuada en forma de una crema, y a parte la misma sopa solo que sin licuar de manera que ella sintiera los trozos de los ingredientes.

In this post I want to share with you how was my experience with my baby's first soup, as I pointed out in the title, it should be clarified that my 5-month-old baby lately is very curious about the food we eat here at home, my little Kiara only so far is exclusively breastfeeding; And since my baby has been very insistent in trying certain foods, I did not hesitate to make him his first soup, I put potatoes, carrots and chicken breast on it, I made a super simple soup, I gave it to him to try in different textures; First I gave it to her liquefied in the form of a cream, and apart from the same soup only without blending so that she felt the pieces of the ingredients.
Mis expectativas // My expectations
Pues como toda madre primeriza preparé esa sopa con la ilusión de que le iba a encantar a mi bebé, se los juro yo sentía una “conexión con la sopa, los ingredientes, el caldero, en fin…” me imagine a Kiara arrancándome la chúcara de la mano para ella devorarse toda la sopa. Jajajaja ¡ay! que novata de mí!
Well, like every new mother, I prepared that soup with the illusion that my baby would love it, I swear I felt a “connection with the soup, the ingredients, the cauldron, well…” I imagined Kiara tearing my chúcara hand in hand for her to devour all the soup. Hahahaha oh! what a rookie of me.
A un lado expectativa, bienvenida realidad.// Expectation aside, welcome reality.
Una vez lista la sopa de pollo, con ayuda de mi mamá quería inmortalizar ese momento en que mi bebé probara su primer bocado de alimento, jajaja y pues mis queridos amigos aquí esta ese momento captado.
Once the chicken soup was ready, with the help of my mother I wanted to immortalize that moment when my baby tasted his first bite of food, hahaha and well, my dear friends, here is that moment captured.
Nos reímos mucho mi madre y yo ante esta situación, pues la carita de mi bebe era todo un poema, jajaja parecía no haberle gustado nada el nuevo sabor que probó, y analizaba y saboreaba pero nada parecía convencerle de esta sopa, y lo mismo fue la sopa licuada y la no licuada; ambas eran extrañamente desagrádables para Kiara.
My mother and I laughed a lot at this situation, because my baby's face was a whole poem, hahaha, he seemed to have not liked the new flavor he tried, and he analyzed and savored but nothing seemed to convince him of this soup, and the same was the blended and the non-blended soup; they were both strangely unpleasant for Kiara.
Poco a poco, vamos avanzando // Little by little, we move forward
No siempre las cosas salen como las imaginamos, pero sin duda alguna es un gran paso para mi pequeña Kiara haber probado algo nuevo, tal vez ha sido un poco temprano a los 5 meses, quizás un par de meses más ella estará lista para explorar este infinito mundo del paladar, y habrá sabores que prefiera más que otros; es una historia que aun desconozco pero sé que llegará, en algún momento me veo con mi pequeña disfrutando de una deliciosa ensalada de frutas o quizá su primer helado. Todo a su sabio y natural tiempo. Sabré esperarla y aquí estaré siempre a su lado; para disfrutar con ella de los grandes y pequeños cambios que experimente en este increíble mundo llamado tierra.
Things don't always go the way we imagine them, but without a doubt it is a big step for my little Kiara to have tried something new, maybe it was a little early at 5 months, maybe a couple more months she will be ready to explore this infinite world of the palate, and there will be flavors that you prefer more than others; It is a story that I still do not know but I know that it will come, at some point I see myself with my little girl enjoying a delicious fruit salad or perhaps her first ice cream. Everything in its wise and natural time. I will know how to wait for her and I will always be here by her side; to enjoy with her the great and small changes that she experiences in this incredible world called earth.
