Buenos dias, Buenas tardes , Buenas noches

Cada vez que salimos a la calle pasan cosas muy graciosas y sobre todo con mi hijo khael, él tiene una personalidad maravillosa y me siento bendecida de ser su madre, claro el es tambien como todo niño, travieso , activo y entiendo perfectamente esto.

Every time we go out to the street very funny things happen and especially with my son khael, he has a wonderful personality and I feel blessed to be his mother, of course he is also like any other child, naughty, active and I understand this perfectly.

Ayer después de realizar todas las actividades del colegio el nos pidió que si podíamos pasear un poco y así lo hicimos , fuimos al parque que está cerca de la casa y nos quedamos un buen rato compartiendo allí.

Yesterday after all the school activities he asked us if we could go for a walk and so we did, we went to the park near the house and we stayed there for a while.

Cuando estabamos de regreso ya era de noche , nosotros le hemos enseñado a nuestro hijo que cuando ve personas mayores ó pasamos al lado de algunas personas debemos decir buenas noches o buenos días independientemente sea el caso.

When we were on our way back it was already dark, we have taught our son that when he sees older people or we pass by some people we should say good night or good morning regardless of the case.

Y efectivamente así fue, el se esforzó por saludar a las personas que estaban en el camino, pero muchas de estas personas no contestaban, y él me dijo mamá será que ellos no escuchan, yo la verdad cuando paso esto me senti molesta , porque él se está esforzando por ser educado y las personas no ven esto.

Entonces le respondí qué no todas las personas le van a contestar , pero que su educación no depende de la educación de los demás, es decir así le contestén o no lo hagan, el sí tiene que ser educado porque su mamá y su papá se esfuerzan por enseñarle valores.

Cómo madre es imposible no sentirse afectado , porque te das cuenta de lo mal que estamos como sociedad y es como tratar de dar un aporte positivo y darte cuenta que no se valora muchas veces.

As a mother it is impossible not to feel affected, because you realize how bad we are as a society and it is like trying to give a positive contribution and realizing that it is not valued many times.

Una de las más grandes preocupaciones como madres es que nuestros hijos puedan estar bien educados.

One of the biggest concerns as mothers is that our children can be well educated.

Y esta educación va desde saludar cuando llegamos a algun lugar dando la mano, despedirnos cuando nos vamos , Llamar señor o señora a las personas mayores , ser amable y decir gracias cuándo nos hacen un favor o responder con de nada cuándo hemos hecho nosotros el favor.

And this education goes from greeting when we arrive somewhere shaking hands, saying goodbye when we leave, calling elderly people sir or ma'am, being kind and saying thank you when they do us a favor or responding with "you're welcome" when we have done the favor.

También incluye dar la Silla a las personas de avanzada edad o a mujeres embarazadas, pedir permiso cuando necesitamos pasar por algún lugar donde haya personas y Sí hemos tropezado a alguna persona ser capaz de decir disculpe.

Creo que en la medida que nos esforcemos por enseñarle estos valores a nuestros hijos y que realmente ellos lo apliquen en su vida entonces de alguna manera estaremos cambiando al mundo, no importa si no le contestan el saludo o si no hay suficiente gente agradecida en el mundo, Lo importante es que nosotros desde donde estemos impulsemos a un cambio en la sociedad.

I believe that to the extent that we make an effort to teach these values to our children and that they really apply them on the rise, then in some way we will be changing the world no matter if they do not answer the greeting or if there are not enough grateful people in the world. The important thing is that from wherever we are we promote a change in society.
