Sinceramente de niño en mi querida ciudad de Valera llegué a volar voladores pero mas jugaba trompo y metras, con mi hijo recreo muchas cosas, hicimos juntos un volador criollo como le digo yo, de bolsa plástica y varillitas de coco que abundan acá en la comunidad, le colocamos cola con tiras de tela y usamos pabilo pero la verdad luego me arrepentí de no llevar hilo de coser que era mucho mejor. La idea es que los voladores sean hechos de material ligero y alzen vuelo rápido.
Greetings community, I am stopping by again to share a nice experience with my youngest son as part of an educational and recreational school activity. My son is in the 1st year of high school in the high school of our community and his Physical Education teacher organized a parrot flight in a municipal land used for recreational activities. The students had to be accompanied by their representatives. Although I am retired and have the time for my son, some parents work and I know from experience that this can prevent us from spending quality time with our children, which is why encouraging these meetings helps a lot to bring the family together.
Sincerely as a child in my beloved city of Valera I got to fly fly flyers but more played spinning top and metras, with my son I recreate many things, we made together a Creole flyer as I call it, of plastic bag and coconut sticks that abound here in the community, we put tail with strips of cloth and we used wick but the truth then I regretted not to take sewing thread that was much better. The idea is to make the flyers made of light material and fly fast.
Salimos todos del liceo, los muchachos contentos con sus voladores, estas actividades los entusiasman y mantienen vivos nuestros juegos tradicionales, nuestra comunidad es pesquera contamos con una extensión de playa donde los niños juegan y se divierten, llevan sus voladores y se convierte en un festival de colores en el cielo. Conversando con el profesor me comentaba que se había afianzado en este último lapso en los juegos porque es la manera fácil, divertida de los estudiantes aprender y como docente sé que es así.
En una actividad de papagayos, los estudiantes se ejercitan, están en movimiento tratando de que el volador levante vuelo, para su elaboración y durante el vuelo ejercitan sus habilidades cognitivas y motrices, son organizados, hay quienes tratan de resaltar del resto con voladores mas grandes y coloridos, se dá una competencia sana; todos al pendiente del que se ubique más alto, el de mi hijo pudo levantar vuelo pero no tan alto como los otros, la verdad no es una de sus actividades favoritas pero la disfrutó con sus compañeros y yo también.
We all left the high school, the kids were happy with their flyers, these activities excite them and keep our traditional games alive, our fishing community has an extension of the beach where the children play and have fun, they take their flyers and it becomes a festival of colors in the sky. Talking with the teacher, he told me that he had refined in this last lapse in the games because it is the easy, fun way for students to learn and as a teacher I know it is so.
In a parrot activity, students exercise, they are in motion trying to make the flyer take flight, for their elaboration and during the flight they exercise their cognitive and motor skills, they are organized, there are those who try to stand out from the rest with bigger and more colorful flyers, there is a healthy competition; everyone is looking for the one who is placed higher, my son's was able to take flight but not as high as the others, the truth is not one of his favorite activities but he enjoyed it with his classmates and me too.
La ventaja que tiene el volador es que sus materiales no son costosos, lo pueden usar hembras y varones, se realiza al aire libre, podemos explicar sobre ciencias y sociales fabulosamente, la verdad estos muchachos la pasaron muy bien, el ambiente era agradable a pesar del intenso sol que caracteriza a la isla, faltaron mas padres, espero puedan participar con sus hijos en otra oportunidad, porque ayuda a fortalecer los lazos, en mi caso, se trata de mis hijo menor y a mi edad trato de aprovechar el tiempo al máximo junto a el.
The advantage of the flyer is that its materials are not expensive, it can be used by females and males, it is done outdoors, we can explain about science and social studies fabulously, the truth is that these kids had a great time, the atmosphere was pleasant despite the intense sun that characterizes the island, more parents were missing, I hope they can participate with their children another time, because it helps to strengthen ties, in my case, it is my youngest son and at my age I try to make the most of the time with him.
