I noticed yesterday morning that we have run out of products available to me. After the operation, the doctor ordered me to eat according to the "Table No. 5" diet, which excludes everything fried, fatty, canned. Only low-fat meat (that is, goodbye pork), low-fat types of fish, and all this must be baked, steamed or boiled, cereals, dried bread, fruits, vegetables (and not all of them, for example, I was surprised to learn about the fact that spinach, as well as onions and garlic are not allowed, only the exclusion of these vegetables does not surprise me anymore). So I tell my wife - "I'll go to the store, buy something to eat." And she answers me: "I will go with you, you won't take much." I can't lift something heavy for a certain time. Here again the issue of our lack of a car came up. None of us has a driver's license, and we spent all our money primarily on building our house. Our house isn't quite finished yet, but it's livable, so maybe it's time to think about learning to drive and eventually buying one. But it won't be soon, and for now we are dependent on buses, friends with cars and delivery services. We could go to the nearest store in the village, but there is a very small selection of products and they are expensive. There is a good mini market near the school, but it would be difficult to carry it all because it is quite far. And, taking into account the fact that there is a bus stop near our house at a distance of one hundred meters and it goes directly to Auchan in Lviv in less than half an hour, the choice was obvious. The main thing is not to miss it. |
