Вітаю, друзі! Зупинимося сьогодні на монеті Швеції номіналом 10 ере. Виготовлена вона була в Стокгольмі у 1970 році. А вже через 22 роки монети цього номіналу були вилучені з обігу, звичайно, у зв'язку з інфляційними процесами в економіці. Нині всі розмінні монети, включаючи 50 ере, вилучені з обігу. Загальний тираж монети, що розглядається, складає понад 60 мільйонів (в UNC). Тому навряд чи варто говорити про колекційну цінність.
Монета виготовлена зі сплаву міді та нікелю. Діаметр складає 15 мм, а вага — 1.35 г.
Шведська крона, розмінною монетою якої ере (ауреус — золотий), є офіційною грошовою одиницею Швеції вже 150 років, а саме, з моменту формування Скандинавського валютного союзу. Крім вказаної країни до нього також входила Норвегія та Данія. В 70-х та 80-х роках позаминулого століття монети 5, 10 та 20 крон виготовляли з золота. Розмінні ж монети виготовляли зі срібла та бронзи. Але через три десятиліття недостачу дорогоцінних металів привела до необхідності переходу на залізо та нейзильбер.
До створення союзу з Норвегією та Данією на території країни використовувалась так звана срібна валюта — далери, а до цього шведська марка.
10 ере 1970 року виконана в досить класичному вигляді. Так, шведською мовою вказана назва країни, а вище — номінал. Монета має гладкий гурт.
З іншої сторони зображена традиційна монограма. Мова йде про характерне та стисле позначення перших літер імені королівської особи — Густава 6 Адольфа. Він керував країною з 1950 по 1973.
