Привіт! Сьогодні на огляді монета з моєї колекції, а саме, 1 цзяо 1993 року. Здається, ці монети ще є в обігу, але поступово вони знецінюються, як і всі грошові одиниці країн світу. Монета з алюмінію важить 2.3 г, а її діаметр складає 22.5 мм. Тираж невідомий.
Офіційної грошовою одиницею Піднебесною є юань, що поділяється на 10 цзяо. Тобто, 1 цзяо — це 1/10 юаня. Але не все так просто в Китаї, адже ще є розмінна монета фень. А це вже 1/10 цзяо. Нині один юань складає близько 14 центів. Тому дрібні монети фень майже нічого не варті й вийшли з обігу, хоча продовжують залишатися національною грошовою одиницею.
Перші юані в країні почали карбувати у 1835 році. До цього часу жителі країни користувалися срібними лянами, а також грошовими знаками інших держав.
Реверс. З цього боку монети з гладким гуртом вказано номінал 1 цзяо (справа і вгору від центру). Нижче зображена півонія, символ процвітання та добробуту. У Піднебесній ця рослина вважається національним символом.
Лицьова сторона монети. Центральну частину займає Герб країни, під яким нанесено напис Китайська Народна Республіка (китайською мовою). Ще нижче викарбувано рік введення монети в обіг. Монета збереглася досить непогано, хоча ось світлини вдалося зробити не на самому кращі рівні.

The year of the coin's introduction into circulation is engraved even lower. The coin is quite well preserved, although the photos were not very good.
