The seven short stories included in the almanac are based on the real events of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people during the full-scale invasion of the Russian invaders. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy warehouse in Henichesky District. This was reported by the adviser to the head of the Kherson OVA, Serhiy Khlan: "Genichesk can be congratulated on the start. Our artillery had not reached there before - it is 200 km from Kherson. In the morning, Russian ammunition detonated at the research station for over one and a half hours." As Khlan noted, Henichesky district is the most remote and is located on the administrative border with Crimea. So there are no more safe areas for Russians in the Kherson region.
ЗСУ знищили ворожий склад у Генічеському районі. Про це повідомив радник голови Херсонської ОВА Сергій Хлань: "Генічеськ можна вітати з почином. Раніше туди не долітала наша артилерія – це 200 км від Херсона. Зранку понад півтори години детонували боєприпаси росіян на дослідній станції." Як зазначив Хлань, Генічеський район найбільш дальній і знаходиться на адміністративній межі з Кримом. Тож безпечних ділянок на Херсонщині для росіян більше немає.

European Commission spokesman Peter Stano commented on the scandalous Amnesty International report. What he said:
▶️ Everything that happens in Ukraine is a direct consequence of Russia's illegal, unjustified and unprovoked aggression, which kills civilians, destroys civilian infrastructure, targets pensioners, women, children, hospitals and railway stations.
▶️ Russia is attacking civilian targets, and the Ukrainian army is fighting this aggression and trying to protect the civilian population. In such a situation, of course, there is a need to place military equipment in areas that are under attack and where civilians live.
▶️ The efforts of the EU and the international community are always aimed at trying to reduce the suffering of the civilian population in any conflict. In such cases, it is civilians who pay the highest price, and this is unacceptable.
Amnesty International used the testimony of people who were in infiltration camps and prisons in the temporarily occupied territories for the preparation of the report - and therefore the interviews were selected under obvious pressure.
Речник Єврокомісії Пітер Стано прокоментував скандальний звіт Amnesty International. Що він сказав:
▶️ Усе, що трапляється в Україні, є прямим наслідком незаконної, невиправданої і неспровокованої агресії росії, яка вбиває мирних жителів, знищує цивільну інфраструктуру, робить цілями пенсіонерів, жінок, дітей, лікарні й вокзали.
▶️ росія атакує цивільні цілі, а українська армія бореться з цією агресією і намагається захистити цивільне населення. У такій ситуації, звісно, є потреба розміщувати військове обладнання у районах, які перебувають під атакою і в яких проживають мирні жителі.
▶️ Зусилля ЄС і міжнародної спільноти завжди спрямовані на спроби зменшити страждання цивільного населення у будь-якому конфлікті. В таких випадках саме цивільні люди платять найбільшу ціну, і це неприйнятно.
Amnesty International використали для підготовки звіту свідчення людей, які знаходились в фільтраційних таборах та тюрмах на тимчасово окупованих територіях – а отже інтервʼю відібрані під очевидним тиском.

The first batch of humanitarian coal from Australia arrived in Ukraine. The first 39 coal wagons are already at the Ukrainian TPP. In total, Australia will transfer 79,000 tons of coal, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported. The United States will provide Ukraine with $89 million for demining. The funds will be used for equipment and training of sappers. This was reported by an official of the State Department, Reuters reports. Thanks to this assistance, Ukraine will be able to equip and train 100 demining groups during the year. This project is the largest US program for demining Ukraine.
США нададуть Україні $89 млн на розмінування. Кошти підуть на обладнання та навчання саперів. Про це повідомив посадовець Держдепу, передає Reuters. Завдяки цій допомозі Україна протягом року зможе екіпірувати та навчити 100 груп із розмінування. Цей проєкт є наймасштабнішою програмою США з розмінування України.

Ukraine will receive $4.5 billion from the World Bank. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine informs about the signing of the grant agreement. These funds will be spent on the payment of pensions and separate social assistance programs, in particular, on the payment of housing and communal services, support of low-income families, children with disabilities, IDPs, as well as on the payment of medical services under the medical guarantee program.
Україна отримає $4,5 мільярда від Світового банку. Про підписання угоди про отримання гранту повідомляє Міністерство фінансів України. Ці кошти витратять на виплату пенсій та окремі програми соцдопомоги, зокрема на оплату житлово-комунальних послуг, підтримку малозабезпечених сімей, дітей з інвалідністю, ВПО, а також на оплату медпослуг за програмою медичних гарантій.
