Назви Великої та Малої ведмедиці
- Залізний Кіль ( в оригіналі колЪ) (ursa minor/polar star), та кінь (ursa major) який ходить навколо нього. Також зустрічаються такі назви як - Золотий Кіль, кіль Зірка, Божий гвіздок, Ричаг на якому крутиться все небо, Гвіздок Півночі - чі гвіздок Дна ( Небосхил вважався котлом, верхівкою дна котрого була - полярна зірка)
Втрата цієї зірки прирівнювалася до кінця світу.
Виривання кола = порушенню порядку руху зірок = кінцю світу. Вірування що Велика Ведмедиця звязана з гибеллю світу були досить розповсюдженними в різних територіях. Татари вірили що коли 7 собак з залізними кігтями зірвуться з залізних ціпей настане кінець всьому.
Також було повірья що на небі є 3 сестри зірниці ,що сторожать пса, який прикутий при малій ведмедиці, залізним ланцюгом, пес хоче вирватися, та перегризти цей ланцюг та коли це йому вдасться наступе загибель світу.

Losing this star was tantamount to the end of the world.

There was also a belief that there are 3 starling sisters in the sky, who guard the dog, which is chained to the little bear, with an iron chain, the dog wants to break out and gnaw this chain, and when it succeeds, the world will die.
