CMYK (colores-pigmento o modelo de sustracción del color);
RGB (colores-luz o modelo de adición del color);
RYB (modelo tradicional).

Scientifically we can say that color is a visual experience, a sensory impression that we receive through our eyes.

It is the colors that we differentiate around us, in parks, cities, your house, television, the sea, flowers, etc. that brighten our existence. Our life is composed of thousands of colors, sometimes gray and sometimes warm.

We have many colors, among them primary, secondary, tertiary and complementary.

Primary colors are those that cannot be obtained by mixing any other color. That is, they are distinguishable from each other and are unique.

These primary colors are a form of classification according to their origin or according to how they are obtained. These classifications include the different color theories, as listed below:

CMYK (pigment-color or color subtraction model);
RGB (colors-light or color addition model);
RYB (traditional model).

The traditional model known by its acronym RYB (red, yellow, blue) is the one we all know and where the colors yellow, blue and red are considered primary colors.

Traditional primary colors are still studied in the plastic arts, although they are considered obsolete for science after the development of synthetic pigments that originated cyan and magenta colors. Therefore, this color model is the precursor of the CMYK model, since it represents the ideal pigment color correction.

You recognize the 3 primary colors in nature. Red is found in flowers, blue in the sky and yellow in some animals.

From the different colors and their different combinations we have the possibility to create images associated with ideas or feelings.
It should be noted that our eyes only perceive the colors that are reflected on objects by the action of light. This is because the sun's rays contain all the colors of the rainbow mixed together and this mixture is known as white light.

When white light hits a white object, the object does not absorb the light, but if this light hits a black object, the object absorbs all the light and therefore we can observe its black color. In synthesis, the white color is the mixture of all the colors of the rainbow and the black color is the absence of light.

Well, after all this brief explanation, I will now comment on the meaning of colors.

In psychology the color is associated with the emotions of people, and can influence their physical and mental state, so the colors we wear or paint in our house say a lot about us ....

Let's see, blue reminds us of the sea and the sky and transmits stability, confidence, calm, intelligence, peace, strength, care and security. Although this color means all that, it can also transmit coldness or remoteness.

This color is often used to give corporate messages and avoid being invasive, as Volkswagen, Forbes and AT&T use it.

The color blue provokes emotions of tranquility and relaxation; it invites to rest and calmness, but on the other hand, it also has negative meanings, since it is a cold color that is associated with remoteness and coldness.

While yellow symbolizes happiness, joy and is usually worn by people who are visionary, happy, optimistic and with vitality. It has positive connotations, although it also means that these people can cheat or lie or that you have to be careful with them. There are also superstitious people who do not use yellow because they believe it brings bad luck.

Yellow is considered a cheerful and warm color; it helps us to get inspired and be more creative; it awakens critical thinking. However, it is also conducive to eyestrain and makes babies cry.

People who work with colors such as:
Artists
Therapists
Graphic designers
Industrial designers
Interior architects
Fashion designers

They are always very aware of how to use them to convey what they want.

-How are you going to use these colors?
