This one is inspired by my son, who manages to tune just about everything out when playing video games. My wife, not having grown up with video games at all, does not understand this and it pisses her off to no end. The best compromise I could come up with is having him set a timer when he starts, so he doesn't play for hours on end.
As for Jen's response, those who voted option 'C' on the previous comic (i.e. that she proceeds to beat the alien like the red-headed stepchild of a rented mule)... you are the winners! Sorry to those who voted she tazer his ass, but with all the empty homebrew beer bottles laying around from the LAN party, they would be the most available weapons at hand.
That said, should she stay angry and eventually get access to her purse.... 😈
