Investment Talk: Bulk resellers only. This is not a high value book and does not have much prospects to become so. It does have some cool art and characters though!

Thus Far: The rebellion has its chance. Aldaran, Kazuo, and Goyo have arrived to the palace to face off against Hakara and Gurakai. Still a bit out matched and they have Kameko captured. Final battle is upon us. Lets finish this!

Things start right where they left off. The showdown begins. Much like the Mitsura issue, Aldaran is left to fight the boss. This time there is an even bigger power gap as Gurakai easily knocks Aldaran around. Again however, he has no idea how Aldaran beat Ikeda or Mitsura. And Aldaran replies with "Dirty Tricks" which... is true!

Hakara meanwhile is burning the city down. Kazuo and Goyo are holding their own but Hakara just seems way too powerful. Until they mess with his footing.

With the opportunity presenting itself, Goyo jumps in and manages to pin Hakara down with a stab to the leg. Signaling Kazuo to make a move, Hakara is finally worried.

Kazuo jumps into action, powers up his axe and takes out Hakara once and for all!

Meanwhile back at the palace, Aldaran is still taking a beating but Kameko gets free. When he's not looking she manages a good slash across the emperor's back. It does not seem to phase him much but it was just the distraction Aldaran needed!

Aldaran does what he does and quickly grabs his sword, puts some effort into and manages to slice up the emperor, pinning him to the wall with his sword.

Kazuo and Goyo make it back to the palace to help but the battle is over. They seem extremely surprised. 😅

Goyo is a bit confused. He didn't really expect to be handed the empire. But he was. Aldaran and Kameko walk off to watch the city burn and all ends happy!

Not going to lie. This was probably my most anticipated comic back in the day. I had extremely high hopes. I was pretty into Rurouni Kenshin / Samurai X and all that. This really seemed like it was going to be great. It really didn't live up to what I had hoped. It wasn't bad per say. Just not as great as I had hoped. It felt rushed. The characters were just getting established then suddenly there is a three issue burst from who are these guys to we killed the emperor and everyone can live happily ever after! There were characters mentioned and never shown. Seemingly very important characters.

I don't know. I'll just leave it at that. I still like it and the art overall is pretty awesome. Just wish it had been fleshed out more. Could have been so much more.

All that is left now is back to Warlands! We still have Age of Ice (the second volume) and volume 3 to go through. Think that's like 15 more issues. Age of Ice centers around Zeph as an adult. Should be pretty awesome. I have never read either and am looking forward to checking them out!

The End!
