Creamy potatoes with cheese from the oven - recipe

Today I prepared potatoes with cheese from the oven, it can be eaten as a main dish with a salad or as a side dish to some meat, it is very creamy and the cheese that is its addition makes it so crunchy.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500 g of potatoes
  • 50 ml of oil
  • 2 onions
  • 100 g grams of hard cheese (of your choice)
  • 100 ml of cooking sour cream
  • 100 ml of water
  • salt
  • a little pepper
  • dry spice (rosemary or your choice)

PREPARATION:

Clean the onion, then cut it into half rings, heat the oil, then add the onion and sauté, then add a little water and sauté more, until the onion gets a golden color.

While the onion is simmering, cut the potatoes into thin rings.

When the onion gets a golden color and we become soft, put the onion in a fireproof pan and then arrange the
potatos.

In a separate bowl, add sour cream for cooking, then all the spices to taste and stir.

We will grate the cheese coarsely and add it to the cooking cream, we also mix everything, including water.

When everything is combined, pour over the potatoes and cover the refractory pan with foil. Turn the oven to 180 degrees, put the potatoes with foil in the oven to bake lightly for about 30 minutes.

When 30 minutes have passed, the potato is thinly sliced ​​so it doesn't take longer, remove the foil and put it back in the oven for another 15 to 20 minutes to get the golden color of the crust.
