Todo por ser honesto|All for being honest

To write this post I asked my family and friends to see if they had something funny to tell me so I could write this entry. My brother who was just arriving told me .... I got it !!!!... and here I share this anecdote.

My brother is a civil engineer, married to Ana Lucia my beloved sister in law, he likes to play pool, share with his friends, he is very homely, good husband and good brother. Two years after graduating, a company in Caracas employs him for their projects, his function as an engineer was to supervise some works, and those things that civil engineers do....

The following year he married Ana and rented an apartment in La Victoria, but he traveled every day to Caracas, with the fortune that he had his own vehicle.

On one of his return trips, before arriving at the tunnel of the Ocumitos, he noticed that there was an accident vehicle on the road, he has always been known for being a good Samaritan, his astonishment was greater when he noticed that it was a woman, the girl in question opened the cover where the engine is, looking without knowing what to do because apparently (says my brother) did not know anything about the mechanics of his vehicle.

My brother is ready to help her and parks his vehicle near the girl's vehicle, first to support her because she was alone and second to repair the failure...he continued his story and told me that they were able to repair the failure, they had a very pleasant and friendly conversation and he decided to accompany her on the return trip because she was coming from La Guaira and was going to Maracay, and my brother was coming to the city of La Victoria, but he decided to accompany her to Maracay in case the vehicle had another accident.

Arriving in Maracay, the girl tells him to go back because he is going to be very late .... She told him that she lives in El Castaño, which is an upper middle class area of Maracay, but in spite of that, my brother was still firm in his idea of accompanying her.

*When they arrived at the girl's house they were waiting for her because it was her birthday and they had a surprise for her, the girl told them what happened and the family thanked her and asked my brother to stay and share with them, my brother hesitated a little, his cell phone was almost exploding from his wife's calls, but he preferred to stay and explain everything the next day. *

*The funny part of the story is that when he comes back, he stops to think about the amount of questions that Ana will ask his wife, and he is overwhelmed with worry because he stayed away from home, something he had never done before. As he is a regular billiard player (which my sister-in-law does not like at all) - and in the glove compartment of his car he had a few boxes of chalk to mark some faults in the works he supervises - he prefers to tell his wife that he was playing pool with some friends and he was late.... he takes the chalk, turns it into powder and starts to spread it all over his pants and shirt, so that his story matches the signs..... *

When he got to the building.... he was overcome with remorse, and began to shake off the chalk dust, took a deep breath and was determined to tell him the whole truth about the girl and everything that happened afterwards ...ay mama!!!!

This part was told to me by my brother in detail * , I wanted to recreate it as it was with this dialogue:

*My sister-in-law: More or less why you arrive at this hour.
My brother: My love, excuse me, I'm going to tell you the truth, I was coming back, and at the tunnel Los Ocumitos .... (he tells her everything as it is).
My sister-in-law: ahhh yes!!!! ... and you expect me to believe you? ...look how it is full of chalk ...you were playing pool with your friends!!!!... he turned around and locked himself in the room ..jajajajajajajaj

my brother was like a bird on a branch looking to the side, because it left him speechless...jajajajajajajajajaj
