Saludos este mi sexto día de Blogging Challenge Parte 4, tuve que saltarme el día 5 porque no tengo un programa de televisión que ha marcado mi infancia, cuando yo era niña no teníamos televisión en mi casa, de hecho no teníamos electricidad, aunque parezca mentira en los años 60 y 70 en muchos pueblos rurales de Venezuela no había tendido eléctrico. Por otro lado en este día del reto les comparto una pequeña lista que describe cómo se comporta una persona con buenos modales en mi cultura.
Greetings this my sixth day of Blogging Challenge Part 4, I had to skip day 5 because I do not have a television program that has marked my childhood, when I was a child we did not have television in my house, in fact we did not have electricity, oddly enough In the 60s and 70s, in many rural towns in Venezuela there was no electricity. On the other hand, on this day of challenge, I share a small list that describes how a person with good manners behaves in my culture.
Responde los buenos días / Reply good morning
Es muy común que en mi cultura la gente olvide decir buenos días cuando se sube a un autobús o cuando ingresa a un recinto, pareciera que algunos lo toman como un castigo, pero es algo que no le quita nada a nadie, responder los buenos días es una forma de dar a entender que respeto tu presencia como ser humano, porque no le están pasando por un lado a un insecto o a un ave, entonces de debe tener buenos modales, decir y responder a los buenos días.
It is very common in my culture that people forget to say good morning when they get on a bus or when they enter a venue, it seems that some take it as a punishment, but it is something that does not take anything away from anyone, to reply good morning It is a way of implying that I respect your presence as a human being, because they are not passing an insect or a bird, so you must have good manners, say and respond to good morning.

Pide permiso frente a su paso / Ask permission in front of your step
En las ciudades pareciera que todo es una carrera para ver quien llega más rápido, quien hace sus obligaciones con el menor contacto con los demás en la calle, tratando de que ninguna distracción aleje a la persona de su objetivo, su lugar de trabajo, entre otros, pero al mismo tiempo es como si a nadie le importara a quien se lleva por delante, tanto si andas caminando o en un vehículo, las simples normas de tránsito no son suficiente, para el peatón es evitar problemas si solo pide permiso a su paso, lo mismo ocurre con los motorizados y personas que nadan en bicicleta, porque no todas las calles tienes semáforos y no todos los peatones tiene un color que le indique su paso, por eso los vehículo deben ceder su paso y también la gente debe pedir permiso.
In the cities it seems that everything is a race to see who arrives faster, who does their obligations with the least contact with others on the street, trying not to let any distraction take the person away from their objective, their workplace, among others, but at the same time it is as if nobody cares who is driving ahead, whether you are walking or in a vehicle, simple traffic rules are not enough, for the pedestrian it is to avoid problems if he only asks permission from his step, the same happens with motorized vehicles and people who swim by bicycle, because not all streets have traffic lights and not all pedestrians have a color that indicates their passage, that is why vehicles must give way and also people must ask permit.

Dice por favor y da las gracias cuando recibe un servicio / Say please and thank you when you receive a service
Las personas que atienden una tienda, los choferes de los autobuses y las personas que trabajan en cualquier tipo de área de servicio al público merecen respeto, aun cuando estas a veces no sean my amales, no hay que dejar de pedir las cosas diciendo por favor y agradeciendo cada vez que se reciba un servicio, creo que esto distingue a las personas con buenos modales, porque los demás no son esclavos, son seres humanos cumpliendo una actividad para vivir y por lo tanto merecen ser tratados con amabilidad.
The people who tend a store, the bus drivers and the people who work in any type of public service area deserve respect, even when they are sometimes not very nice, we must not stop asking for things saying please and thanking each time a service is received, I think this distinguishes people with good manners, because others are not slaves, they are human beings fulfilling an activity to live and therefore deserve to be treated with kindness.
No toma los espacios públicos como de su propiedad / Does not take public spaces as his property
En mi país es común encontrarse con personas que toman la calle y las acera para hacer distintas actividades, desde tomar bebidas alcohólicas, hasta poner cornetas hacer actividades religiosas, creo que estos lugares de tránsito deben ser respetados y es de mala educación ocuparlos de esa manera, una persona con buenos modales no estaría o participaría de estos actos.
In my country it is common to meet people who take the streets and sidewalks to do different activities, from drinking alcoholic beverages, to putting bugles to religious activities, I believe that these places of transit should be respected and it is rude to occupy them in that way , a person with good manners would not be or would participate in these acts.
Recoge su basura / Pick up your trash
Cuidar la casa es tan importante como cuidar los espacios públicos, por lo tanto las personas con buenos modales deben restear las normas de convivencia ciudadana y por consiguiente no votar basura en la calle.
Taking care of the house is as important as taking care of public spaces, therefore people with good manners must subtract the rules of citizen coexistence and therefore not vote trash in the street.

Respeta a sus mayores / Respect your elders
En mi país y creo que en la mayoría de los países latinoamericanos a nivel familiar se le tiene mucho respeto a los mayores sin embargo no muchas personas respetan a los mayores en la calle, por eso un ejemplo de buen comportamiento y buenos modales es tratar a las personas mayores en la calle con el mismo respeto que se le tiene a los abuelos y padres en la casa.
In my country, and I believe that in most Latin American countries at a family level there is a lot of respect for the elderly, however, not many people respect the elderly on the street, so an example of good behavior and good manners is to treat older people on the street with the same respect that grandparents and parents have at home.
