Hace unos cuántos días me topé en Internet con un artículo que hablaba acerca de los cinco idiomas más difíciles de aprender. Realmente no sé cómo llegué hasta ese artículo, pero cuando comienzas buscando algo en Internet una cosa te termina llevando a otra distinta y bueno... puedes terminar leyendo cosas bastante interesantes.

I don't really know how I got to that article, but when you start looking for something on the Internet one thing ends up leading you to another, and well... you can end up reading pretty interesting things.
Antes de dar con ese artículo siempre había pensado que el idioma más difícil de aprender es el chino mandarín y, ¿por qué? Bueno, pues según lo que tengo entendido es uno de esos idiomas donde cada sonido tiene diferentes entonaciones posibles y dependiendo de cada entonación la palabra puede adquirir un significado totalmente distinto.

Before I came across this article I had always thought that the most difficult language to learn is Mandarin Chinese and why? Well, according to what I understand it is one of those languages where each sound has different possible intonations and depending on each intonation the word can acquire a totally different meaning.

But in spite of being a quite complex language when it comes to learning, it is one of the most spoken languages in the world.
Something interesting that I read about this language is that it lacks gender, it doesn't handle plurals and there is no verb conjugation.

I have always thought that nothing in this life is impossible, so no matter how difficult a language can be, it does not mean that we can never handle it. It's all about motivation, perseverance and dedication to study and practice.
