Most of the tourists traveled home, so the crowds are practically nowhere to be found. What is still here is the extraordinary beauty of nature, the sea and still very beautiful weather. A perfect day for a walk. Here are some stops from this 8 to 10 km round walk in both directions between Mareda and Novigrad.

Terra rossa. As the name implies, it is Istrian red earth sprinkled with small calcite stones, which owes its color to the high percentage of iron oxides. Vineyards and olive groves are most often here.

A beautiful seaside town Novigrad-Cittanova was today's final location before the walk back. Two marinas, wonderful old own, many bars and restaurants, a growing new part of the city, beautiful beaches and lots of green space ... all this is typical of Novigrad. But that is another story.
