Hello there again!
Today, on my 4th Hive birthday, I want to share with you my incredible day I spent in the Carpathians yesterday.

Хочу поділитися враженнями від вчорашнього неймовірного дня, проведеного в Карпатах.
We came here last year, and intended to go to the mountain, where the pagan astronomical sanctuary is located. Then we chose another route. If I only knew how cool it is! So yesterday we decided to make another try. My daughter did not arrive, so I had to take Sonya 😉
Ми вже приїздили сюди минулого року, і тоді в планах було піднятись на гору, де розташоване язичницьке астрономічне святилище. Тоді ми вибрали інший маршрут. Якби ж я знала, як тут круто! Отже вчора вирішили спробувати знову. Дочка не приїхала, довелося взяти Соню 😉
Earlier, when I climbed the mountains, the main focus was to make it, finish. And if I went in a group, it's even more important: do not lag behind, do not be the weakest.
Раніше, коли я піднімалась у гори, то головним фокусом було дійти. А якщо ідеш у групі, це ще важливіше: не відстати, не бути найслабшим.
Now we hike in a "small group" of close relatives. Yesterday there were just the two of us: my husband and I.
Зараз ми ходим "малою групою" найближчих родичів. Вчора ми з чоловіком були тільки удвох.
I'm enjoying this... so much. And it doesn't matter how long my climb was, because:
- we ate the freshest strawberries and blueberries,
- swing on a mountain swing with a picturesque landscape,
- gathered chanterelles, and this process was very exciting,
- had a nice chat with the locals,
- cut fragrant thyme,
- saw eagles, various interesting birds and a snake,
- I took bunch of photos,
- and all the way I just had fun, absorbed the aromas, sounds, views...
Can it be compared to another check-in? Never, not for me.

Я отримую такий кайф від процесу. І не важливо, за скільки часу ми піднялись, тому що:
- ми наїлись суниць і чорниць
- покатались на гірській гойдалці з мальовничим краєвидом
- назбирали цілий куль лисичок, і цей процес дуже захоплюючий
- гарно побалакали з місцевими
- настригли пахучого чебрецю
- побачили орлів, різних пташок цікавих і веретільницю, ще кращу
- я нафоткала кіло фотографій
- а протягом всього шляху я просто отримувала задоволення, всотувала аромати, звуки, краєвиди...
Хіба це може зрівнятись із формальним чекіном? Та ніколи.
Going up the marked route, on the advice of our host, we turned to another route to fill supply of water. The trail there was extremely picturesque.
Піднімаючись маркованим маршрутом, в одному місці ми, за порадою нашого господаря звернули на інший маршрут, щоб набрати води. Стежка була надзвичайно мальовничою.

So we often stopped, ate berries and took pictures. Didn't notice how time passed: the clock showed 4pm, and we hadn't even reached the range yet! Here I turned on the second gear and we got pumped.
То ж ми часто зупинялись, їли ягоди і фотографували. Не помітили, як сплив час: годинник показував четверту, а ми ще навіть не дійшли до вершини! Тут я включила другу передачу і ми поперли.
Few! When we reached the range, the trail got less steep but more stony.
Fortunately, our first site was close. Here it is, place of pagan sacrifice.
На хребті стежка стала менш крутою, але кам'янистою. На щастя, перша точка була близько. Ось воно, місце язичницького жертвоприношення.
We didn't know how much time we need for the next (and the last) point, beside we both were starving! Only water and berries since breakfast! So we moved on.
And now the final straight, up towards the peak!
Ми не знали, скільки часу нам треба на наступну (кінцеву) точку, до того ж страшенно хотілось їсти. Від сніданку ми їли тільки ягоди. То ж тут довго не затримались.
А далі - ось вона, фінішна пряма!

But was was a reward! A breathtaking view, and this unforgettable feeling of being on the top...
Але яка винагорода! Неймовірний вид і це незабутнє відчуття, коли знаходишся на вершині.
