Hello Everyone Today I am sharing with you my experience of a small camping trip to a heavenly beautiful lake in Himachal Pradesh India.
Serolsar valley is situated at an elevation of 3100 meters in district Kullu of Himachal Pradesh [//]:# (!pinmapple 31.536445 lat 77.423650 long d3scr)
I was on this trip with my friends and this trip was the best one of my life till now as it was joyful and adventurous. The plan was made suddenly after our last exam we left our homes very late in the night from Chandigarh close to 9 pm
It was a 2-day trip from beginning to end. It was my first-time experience camping in the snow. The place was covered with fresh snow and was closely around -2 degrees Celcius at daytime and about -5 degrees at night. We were short on some sleeping bags but still, we managed to survive the cold.

The trek is of a total of 6- 7 km one side and takes approx 2 hours to reach the lake the trek is not that much tough with a moderate slope.
But as there was fresh snow it was a bit slippery and we were late for the trek as we started our trek around 4 in the evening and in winters it gets dark early so when we reached the lake it was pitch dark everywhere
After reaching the top we started collecting woods and looking for a good place to camp.
After hard work of an hour, we camped the tents and were able to light a good fire
Then we sat around the fire for some time and enjoyed the night view. It was peaceful all around and was brightly lit due to snow we could see easily
we cooked food after that and ate it it was a good experience than we sat with the fire for some time gazing at the beauty all around us
Then we went back to our tents and slept after a good sleep we woke up early to see the sunrise it was worth waking up early the view was just fascinating it was a good sunny day
We could see mountains from there which were covered by clouds it was beautiful
Then we started to explore the place properly we walked around the place clicked photographs
After walking uphill for 15 min we found a place where there was a good amount of snow we enjoyed that place a lot we were sliding on that snow writing our names in the snow and having fun
After that, we decided to go back to the place where we camped as there was a temple close by and we went to the temple which was with the lake photography was prohibited inside the temple so we didn't take any photos there.
Then we started to pack and went back down the hill to the place where we started the trek. This trip was a memorable one.
