Some time ago, I spent time with friends visiting a beach called Lhok Mata Ie. This beach is located in Ujung Pancu Village, Peukan Bada District, Aceh Besar Regency. This beach is very popular among teenagers. Some activities that can be done here are camping, fishing, swimming and snorkeling. This beach is surrounded by hills from left to right and also in front .
The location of this beach is quite hidden. To get to Ujung Pancu Village, we traveled about 30-40 minutes by motorcycle from the center of Banda Aceh City. Once there, we will park at a resident's house and pay a parking fee of IDR5000.00 / motorcycle. If women want to come, they must report to the local residents and must hire a guide by paying around IDR 200,000.
Then we will continue the journey by walking up the hill following the path and filled with tree roots. Leg muscle strength is needed on this trip. During the trip, we will enjoy the beautiful green scenery and find fields owned by residents. We are also presented with the song of the forest, which is the sound of chirping birds and other animals. If we are lucky, we can see a small waterfall. This waterfall is usually present during the rainy season.
After traveling on foot for 45 minutes to 1 hour, we will be presented with a beautiful view of white sand and the sparkling blue sea with turquoise gradations.
We spent time chatting together, cooking instant noodles. Not forgetting also to swim and snorkeling. The coral reefs here are still very beautiful and colorful.
But, unfortunately, many visitors do not care about the cleanliness of the environment. No wonder if we find a lot of plastic food and beverage wrappers here. For everyone, please take care of our environment, it's unfortunate if nature as beautiful as this becomes ugly and damaged due to our own actions. In the future, if we don't take care of the environment around us, maybe we won't be able to see such beautiful scenery anymore.
