Beginning of summer - walking around in Haapsalu, Estonia

Have not posted for a while. But would like to change that. Since the world is a bit of a circus I have been thinking about things. For example I would like to live somewhere not Tallinn.

Here are some photos I took while walking in Haapsalu in the beginning of this summer. Most of the photos were taken on the main street there - Posti street, that connects the Old town area and some Shops with The Bigger apartment buildings in Haapsalu.

Small wooden houses are one of the main type of buildings in this part of the town.

But there are also bigger houses built of bricks and concrete. This one is interesting, it has a clock at it's top in all 4 directions. Also it's a weird building, the apartments in it must be pretty small. OK, just googled, probably every apartment has 2 rooms with 38 m2 in total. Actually seems smaller ones with 1 room have 27 m2. Prices bit lower than in Tallinn - 1000-1500 €/m2. Google is too powerful.

Some really nice small and quiet streets, almost at the centre of the city.

Life seems actually too calm in this city during that Sunday.

Tallinn has it's pros and cons, but during the last years I have noticed, some smaller places have more pros for me and I would like to try living somewhere else for a while. But there are a few things currently holding me in Tallinn, but if I get a chance, will make the moves.

This time didn't walk much in the Old Town area. And there are a lot of areas here, I have not seen also, must come back again.

Haapsalu seems like a good place to live in, at least in the summer. During this walk it was almost like a ghost town, not much people rolling in here.

Thank you for your time and attention 🙂
