The amazing amusement park, Disneyland in Paris, France part.I
Wherever you travel, that thing becomes a part of you somehow. - Anita Desai
How can you visit Paris without stopping by the biggest amusement park in Paris?
After a few days in the city of love, our visit to Paris was coming to an end, so for the finale, we saved the icing on the cake and booked a full day to visit the amazing Disneyland theme park.
You know that feeling when your eyes water, ready to shed a tear, when you receive a booking confirmation email on your mobile phone, we did too.
How did it all start?
The story is quite long but I will try to tell you briefly how we got here.
In the spring of this year we received an invitation from some friends that they were waiting for us to visit them, we immediately accepted the invitation, of course at the same time when we were looking for plane tickets for the period we wanted we automatically looked for details about the cost of a visit to the amazing DisneyLand amusement park in Paris, we could not pass through Paris without visiting this park.
Sometimes we have a bit of luck, after I managed to buy the plane tickets, a few days later our friends from Paris call me and give us a great news, they managed to buy the tickets for Disney.
Disney at the time when we planned our holiday in Paris was celebrating 30 years since its founding and put on sale discounted tickets, the cost of a ticket to the first park (the largest park) cost 60euro/person.
How did we get to the park door?
As you know, if you have read my previous posts about what we did in Paris, then and now I will tell you that the accommodation we had in Sartrouville, from here to the city centre we used public transport (bus 272, tram, metro), these means by which you can get around Paris are very well set up, so you can rely on them.
If you use the train (RER) to get to Disney (I recommend you to use the train because it is the fastest) you have to go to Marne-la-Valle-Chessy station, actually from this station you get directly to the gates.
You should know that this beautiful park is about 45 km from the centre of Paris.
Let's start dreaming with open eyes and become children again
After a journey of a few tens of minutes by public transport we arrive at our destination, wow, right from the entrance everything looks fantastic, excuse me if I can't convey the vibe and feelings treated right from the entrance gate.
Usually when I want to visit a place I do a lot of research beforehand about everything, in this case I made an exception, I wanted to get carried away and discover this place without seeing beforehand what is there.
Sometimes we are lucky, sometimes we are unlucky, we had some problems with tickets bought online at one of the gates, the luck was that I had them on my email address and a very nice lady helped us to follow again some steps to validate the tickets, a big like for the employees here.
This wonderful place is divided into two spectacular parks, one is the one we will visit together today, Disneyland Park, and the second park we will leave for another time is called Walt Disney Studios (the latter is a bit smaller).
Our visit here I have divided into two posts, one is today's, where I will tell you how we got here, first impressions, parades of Disney characters and the second post will be strictly about the activities and experiences we had in this park, actually I could not compress our entire visit here in one post.
As we entered we were more and more amazed by how beautiful everything is, a world out of fairy tales with princes and fairies, we took a lot of pictures as soon as we entered, all the parades of Disney characters take place according to a certain schedule that can be found on their website.
My God, how well made are the buildings we pass by, they look like they are from cartoons, here we could meet all the Disney characters like Minnie, Pluto, we also visited the house of the famous Mickey Mouse, and as we walk in the distance we can see the castle of Sleeping Beauty.
Let's meet the Disney characters.
It is good to know that if you have paid the entrance ticket you have free access to all the activities in the park, also here inside the park you can find souvenir shops or all kinds of items themed on the Disney world.
I hope today's post has delighted you and why not convinced you to plan a future vacation to Paris and of course here at Disney in both parks.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.
