Pristine Beaches on the Andaman Sea,Thailand.

The Andaman Sea is known as the sparkling jewel of the Indian Ocean and within the Andaman Sea you will find over 200 warm tropical islands spreading across this vast ocean most of these islands are found in Southern Asia, Phuket Island being one of them which is the biggest island in Thailand, and around Phuket island there are a number of other little islands with pristine beaches with soft fine white sand and clear blue crystal waters surrounding these islands. In this post edition I am going to take you to four of the most popular beaches on the island.

Surin Beach being one of them, Surin beach is located about 14 km from the main tourist beach being Patong beach you will find that Surin beach is a lot more relaxing and not as crowded with tourist offering beautiful natural nature green hills with amazing rocks formations you can go climbing and exploring.

Here on this beach you can chill out on the deck chairs provided at a small fee and served by the beach food vendors their is one restaurant that sell just about every Thai cuisine all at very reasonable prices. This beach use to be lined with many restaurants all built on the beach sand but have now all been taken down making the beach look a lot bigger and cleaner for the tourist.

Kamala Beach in Phuket is more an upper class beach very expensive real estate in this area because of its location on the Andaman Sea, Kamala beach is a quieter beach with a very beautiful stretch of white pure sand nestled in between the natural nature and green lush mountains most of the houses are built around the rain-forest with trails leading the owners down to this astonishing beach. You will not find beach vendors down on this beach as it looks more like a private beach but it isn't really. This beach is located around 9.5 km from main tourist beach been Patong Beach.

Kamala beach I would say is more of a family beach having many higher end resorts like the Cafe Del Mar beach club and the Pine Beach Resort very exclusive and down the other end of Kamala beach there is a little road way that leads you to the most incredible private villas built on top and around the mountain sides with the most stunning views of the Kalmala city and Patong city, they call this part of the beach “The Millionaire Row”

Patong beach being the most popular beach on Phuket island by day and night, during the day you can find yourself relaxing by the beach or getting involved with the many water sport activities here you will find every thing possible to do on including snorkeling and diving. An beach that is not so tranquil like Kamala beach but certainly entertaining if you are here for that.

Patong Beach, Phuket.

By night Patong beach and Patong town turns into one huge kitchen with restaurants of many choices from Western, European, Thai and Indian foods its all here and the drinking bars and clubs are in abundance a very lively city by night.

Yanui Beach another stunning beach is in between Promthep Cape and Patong beach just below from the Windmill lookout point its a beautiful walk following these pathways down through the rain-forest to get to this lovely little beach tucked in between this tiny bay, its a ideal spot for some great coral snorkeling.

Yunui beach looks almost like a private little beach a great place to take your loved one with a bottle of red wine and watch the sunset over the Andaman sea.

Now we come to the sparkling jewel the Andaman Sea at almost sunset but not full on sunset, from the Windmill lookout point you can see why they call the Andaman see a sparkling jewel as the falling sun lights the sea up like a flied of diamonds spread over the blue crystal waters just a stunning sight to admire.
