Sunday I when for a walk along Pattaya Bay Beach shoreline and then worked my way up to the Pattaya hill mountain lookout point. Pattaya Beach is a 4km stretch of white sand beach a very colorful and vibrant beach with all the vendors umbrellas lined up along the beachfront. This city of Pattaya is very well known beach resort with many foreigners from the Western and European countries, it is here that they all come to escape their cold winters.

Pattaya Beach is less then a 2 hour drive from the capital city of Bangkok, therefore you will also see lot's of Thai's escaping the city heat to come and relax by this vibrant beach for the weekend eating the best of seafood and Thai dishes served directly to you on the beach by the vendors and enjoying having there photos taken by the seaside with a bit of style.
In my opinion I don't find Pattaya beach the most attraction beach as in regards to swimming in the sea, it can be a very busy beach with a lot of traffic such as it's the main pick up point for speedboat owners to pick up tourist to take them over to other islands, there are many seafood floating restaurants in the waters nearby to the shore and para-sails, jet skiing going on around you almost looks like a Mini Las Vegas out there but for some people they like a active beach.
I have to say though at the moment with this world pandemic covid, Pattaya beach and city has become a ghost town, if it wasn't for the Thai people escaping Bangkok city heat to come here for a weekend the place would really be looking deserted and this is so sad to see many shops and hotels have closed down permanently, it's only recently that the beaches were opened up again due to that third wave of covid, so it's only just started to look a little lively again.
The main road that runs along beach is called Pattaya Beach Road it reminds me of Miami with the tree line of palm trees stretching down the whole 4km of this Beach Road and it's wide, looks very attractive in the walkway it is paved.

This walkway along the beach is used for bike riders, joggers, walkers, or just sitting down on the benches socializing and eating also great for a bit of people watching, it has a use for everyone but unfortunately at the moment it's quite peaceful along this walkway with only a handful of tourist in the country, it might sound mean but I am loving it like this at the moment.
What makes Pattaya Beach very popular amongst tourist from around the world is that a budget can be found here for anyone wanting to stay in Pattaya city, it's a most convenient city, there are resorts, hotels, shopping malls, every nationality restaurant you can think of and the nightlife here is plentiful having bars and nightclubs in just about every street really makes this city attractive for all ages.
Pattaya Bay Beach area is one of Asia's largest beach resorts in the world the city is one of the most popular cities visited in Thailand by foreigners, for a number of reasons it is a cheap city a very cheerful city, with lot's of activities to be had here and the city has great sunsets over it's stunning busy bay.
