Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens in Pattaya, Thailand, fee to get in is 500 baht ($15 US) and it's not only about gardens it also has a animal section were the kids can feed the animals and play with over 30 beautiful Persian cats, I have never seen so many Persian cats in one room where they all had there own living quarters and they were all owned by this one Thai lady amazingly she knew each ones name even though some looked very similar what a memory.
There is also a car museum if your interested in race cars, vintage cars, and special edition cars with a few unusual electric cars all housed under one roof with air conditioning and a small coffee shop for that break.
From the car museum I took the walkway over Dinosaur Valley and ended up at the Cactus Nursery Garden you are not allowed in this section as it is not part of the visiting gardens, it's were they grow all the cactuses for the park but I sneaked up the driveway just to capture a couple of photos of this huge hanger full of colorful cactuses of all different shapes and sizes.
Just next to the Cactus Nursery Garden is the Nong Nooch Herbaceous Garden with a beautiful setting of Flamingo birds a very colorful nicely manicure garden.
Then along side is the Variegated Plant Collection these were amazing to see such beautiful species from all round the world.
A giant Kapok tree that grows a soft like cotton used for stuffing pillows, cushions, soft toys, etc.
This section I loved the Palms of the World many beautiful amazing varieties surrounding some old culture Thai temples.
There is something about tropical palms they just make you feel like your on a paradise island freedom and surely I was feeling that way been amongst all these amazing palm trees some I had never seen before.
I was amazed with the amount of statues of animals and culture Thai statues hundreds of them all around this huge park complex representing many countries one very expensive project but stunning to see.
Bonsai's there were countless amounts every Bonsai you could think of from every corner of the world they were here, I got to admit Bonsai's are one of my favorite plants it just amazes me how they can grow a tree so small and make it look like the real tree in a much smaller scale.
And when I thought I had seen enough Dinosaurs there was another Dinosaur Park over the other side of the hill these were the smaller more aggressive species.
This park seemed endless there was so much to see I have been here twice now and honestly still haven't got to see every garden, coming over the next hill I encountered a rock garden this was unexpected and unusual but nice I think you could buy some of these rocks for your home garden on special order.
And around the corner was another amazing cactus display in another high rise hanger these cactuses were much larger then the ones I had seen previously at the entrance of this park.
And just to let you know there are also daily cultural shows held at this theme park like Elephant shows and traditional Thai dancing and if you wanted to stay overnight at this theme park there is a lovely resort and restaurant right in the park from $80 US per/night imagine waking up in a park like it would be just mind blowing.
This post is also for #marketfriday run by @dswigle and including for #SublimeSunday inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday initiated by @ace108
