Discovering Trang An - an attractive Vietnam's cultural and natural heritage

Hi all Hivers, How are you today? Vietnam is in spring - the most beautiful season of the year with chilly weather and bright yellow sunshine. Last week was a traditional Tet - Lunnar New Year in my country. My family has chosen Trang An as the destination for spring travel at the beginning of the year. With poetic and attractive scenery, surrounded by mountains and rivers, Trang An is a great tourist destination that you should definitely visit once in your life.

It's great to see that not only Vietnamese people but also many foreign tourists love Trang An. I had a wonderful day with my parents here. Trang An is located in Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. This is a scenic spot associated with Vietnamese history from the 10th century along with the Dinh Dynasty and King Dinh Tien Hoang.

From Hanoi, you can take a car to Trang An which will take about 2 hours. Coming here, you will buy tickets at the ticket counter for 250,000 VND / person ($ 10). During the trip to experience Trang An, you will sit on a boat and wear a life jacket. This is a small boat with a maximum of 5 tourists and 1 ferryman. The ferry driver is usually over 40 years old, they are very friendly and hospitable. Trang An has 3 sightseeing routes for you to choose from. Each route will have caves, temples or spiritual pagodas and they all last 3 hours.
My family chose to visit route number 3: going through 3 caves and 3 main temples. The visit time is extremely enjoyable by the combination of river mountain and wonderful caves. Although I have been to Trang An Ninh Binh 4 times, each time has been a very different experience for me and the beautiful scenery always captivates people.

In the tour, I was most impressed with Hang Dot, the cave has a length of 1000m - the longest in the complex of Trang An relics. In the cave are limestone stalactites dating back thousands of years. They are fossilized and create beautiful shapes. This cave is quite dark and warm, the ferryman will paddle by hand while introducing us to the history of the cave as well as the temples that our house will pass.

The last temple in the journey is the spacious Vu Lam palace with many large Buddha statues. Vietnam is a country that does not follow any religion but most people will believe in Buddhism, in the year do good deeds and do not do bad things. Going to the temple in the spring - the beginning of a new year is also a long-standing belief in Vietnam.

Ninh Binh also has many interesting places next to Trang An such as Mua cave, Bai Dinh pagoda, Viet Old Village, ..
I'm so glad that you read my post today, wish you all the best in 2023 😘
