From Iligan City, we have to travel another 5 hours before we can reach that place. It also just depends on the speed and traffic on the road. Even though we were a bit tired from traveling, I felt excited to see the place and see how beautiful and clean this beach resort is. There are other beaches that can be found here such as JRL beach resort which is located just next to Cagwait beach resort. For 2,500 Pesos, you can come to this place but the accommodations and entrance fee are not included.
Cagwait Beach Resort is one of the tourism boosters in the area, which is why the area of Surigao Del Sur is known and tourism remains high due to the variety of beautiful places that can be found here.
When I was there, I saw its beauty. The place is paradisiacal and the white sand of the beaches adds to the beauty here. There are tall and large groves of trees found here and it helps to keep the area clean, neat and fresh. There are various structures found here such as reception halls, cottages and waiting sheds. You can also see the cleanliness of the area and the few stones on the shores, which is why it is right to take a bath in this place. The water in the sea is crystal clear and I was lucky because when I visited here, the weather was calm and good.
I prefer to sit and take shelter near the big tree because of the freshness of that place. It's nice to go for a walk along the beach because of the white sand that we can walk on, as well as the cleanliness here.
Cagwait Beach has rest houses and most of the visitors who come here especially those who live in distant places, they decide to sleep and stay in the rest houses here on that beach. In this area of the beach there are houses that can be seen here and most of the livelihoods of the residents here is fishing.
This is the waiting area of the beach resort, it is made of hard wood such as tugas and mahogany, it is also polished with Natural color varnish to make it beautiful and shiny. The benches and tables are also made of hard wood and they are also varnished. They also made concrete pathways, it helps to prevent the tourists or visitors from getting muddy and dusty on the beach.
These are the pictures that can be seen here on the beach when the night comes. This place is often visited by visitors because besides being beautiful here, small boats can also be seen here. The area is made of concrete pillars including the floor and it is covered with iron fences to make the people who come here safe, especially the children. It is surrounded by various types of lights and decorations that make the place beautiful. Those street lights here on the beach are made of solar lights, and even though they are only solar lights, it still gives light to the area.
