At the beginning of March this year, I received an offer whether I would like to participate in a trip to the surroundings of the South Bohemian town of Bechyně. I agreed, but I knew it wouldn't be a difficult trip because there would be a lot of friends and that never goes well.
Začátkem března letošního roku jsem dostal nabídku, zda bych se nechtěl zúčastnit výletu do okolí Jihočeského města Bechyně. Souhlasil jsem, ale věděl jsem, že to nebude nijak náročný výlet, protože se ho bude účastnit velké množství kamarádů a to nikdy nedopadá dobře.
The first thing we had to do. It was to catch the morning train from Prague to Tábor, where there is a transfer to the oldest electrified railway in the territory of the Czech Republic. It has been in operation since 1903 and was founded by Ing. František Křižík. One of the main pioneers of the electrification of the Czech territory. And this train took us to Bechyně where we had a meeting with other friends.
První co jsme museli udělat. Bylo chytit ranní vlak z Prahy do Tábora, kde je přestup na nejstarší elektrifikovanou železnici na území České republiky. Ta je v provozu od roku 1903 a za jejím vznikem stojí Ing. František Křižík. Jeden z hlavních průkopníků elektrifikace Českého území. A tento vlak nás odvezl do Bechyně kde jsme měli sraz s dalšími kumpány.
Already in Bechyně, the first problems began to stick to us. As Bechyně is primarily a spa town, it lives its peaceful life and all restaurants do not open until 11 o'clock. That made waiting for the rest more difficult. The plan gradually fell apart when we found out that the last member would not arrive until around 3 p.m. So that meant spending 4 hours in a restaurant. And only then did we set off on a journey around the river.
Už v Bechyni se na nás začali lepit první potíže. Jelikož Bechyně je především lázeňské město, žije si svým poklidným životem a všechny restaurace otevírají až v 11 hodin. O to bylo čekání na zbytek náročnější. Plán se postupně hroutil když jsme zjistili, že poslední člen přijede až kolem 15 hodiny. Takže to znamenalo strávit 4 hodiny v restauraci. A teprve potom jsme se vydali na cestu kolem řeky.
On the way, every moment someone took a bottle out of their backpack or pocket, and this significantly worsened my motor skills and the quality of the photos taken, so I left the photography until the next day.
Cestou, každou chvíli někdo vytáhl z batohu či kapsy nějakou láhev a to značně zhoršovalo mojí motoriku a kvalitu focených snímků a tak jsem focení nechal až na další den.
The evening was even more demanding than the afternoon. And so the next day, it wasn't the best for me. Someone chose the path back through the meadows above the river valley. Unfortunately, the sun was quite hot, so I didn't think about taking pictures and was fighting a hangover. In the end, we got back to Bechyně and unusually immediately got on the train and headed to Prague.
Večer byl ještě náročnější než odpoledne. A tak mi druhý den, nebylo úplně nejlépe. Někdo zvolil cestu zpět po loukách nad údolím řeky. Kam bohužel dost pálilo slunce a tak jsem na focení neměl pomyšlení a bojoval s kocovinou. Nakonec jsme se dostali zpět do Bechyně a netradičně hned sedli na vlak a zamířili do Prahy.
