The Morro: an incredible walk by @sofiaelizoleth28

Hello dear pinmappel friends, and from the entire Hive blog, how are you,😘 my name is Sofía Melchor, and I'm new to this beautiful travel and adventure community🛫. For all of you I bring you directly from Venezuela🇻🇪 a beautiful walk for those who like cycling🚴, walking or exercising outdoors. It is a walk that I took with my boyfriend and one of my friends to the Morro hill🚵 located in Anzoátegui state dairy.

As a curious fact, this hill has one of the best views ⛰️ towards the beautiful blue sea of ​​the Bay of Pozuelos and beautiful sunsets 🌅. With its 15km extension, xerophytic vegetation🌵 and along with its paths make it ideal for cross-country activities🚵. It consists of one of the highest virgins in the entire state and in it is the Magdalena fort, a colonial structure that can be visited during the day until sunset.😉

For this expedition my friend María, my boyfriend and I got up very early ⛅ (5:30am) very willing to be this great adventure, therefore we put on comfortable clothes and took public transport from Barcelona to dairy. Because it is relatively close, it didn't take long to get there.🚌

Once we arrived at the place, my boyfriend insisted my friend and I jog 🏃, but since I'm out of shape I don't like the idea at all, so by unanimous vote we walked. Not if before we decided which route we were going to take, it is important to mention that this walk can be done by car 🚘since it has an asphalt road, we decided to take the dirt road that is near the seashore and thus be able to be more in contact with nature.🏝️

As we walked and toured the place🏖️🌴⛰️, I felt very relaxed and rehabilitated as if all my worries had gone away. During our walk, I liked seeing many people of all ages exercising, at the same time we found beautiful murals that belonged to a music festival that had been held during Holy Week and like all good Venezuelans, we could not miss going counted gossip to relax the atmosphere even more

When we reached the end of the road,😊 we began to climb the route called Calvary,😯in order to reach the top where the sculpture of the little virgin of the valley is located. I have to tell you that the path is somewhat narrow, therefore it was somewhat uncomfortable when we met someone who was coming down and we had to be very careful where we stepped🧗🏃 since we could fall, despite all this it was not difficult to climb .

Once at the top we decided to take a few photos of the bay of Pozuelos🏝️ and especially of that beautiful sun, and between photo and photo time ran out and we managed to rest for a while. Later we proceeded to make the descent but this time on the asphalt road that was less demanding, by this time we were already tired and since we had not eaten or drank water, the exhaustion was not normal but that did not prevent us from enjoying it⛰️

After descending we went to our respective homes, my friend left by bus and my boyfriend and I decided to take another walk in search of some delicious empanadas so we walked from the hill to the dairy cruise. When we got to the cruise I was very tired, so when I got home to sleep I said hahaha. Personally, I highly recommend this place 👍, especially if you like to be in contact with nature 🌺 and do this type of activity. If this is not the case, it is also a beautiful romantic place❤️ to share with your partner 🌴😉
