Hello, dear friends
Today is Monday, and the week begins with a fresh start. I must say I had a wonderful weekend and visited a beautiful place from a naturalistic perspective, a place whose existence I wasn't even aware of. My cousin had been asking me to visit for a while, and I took the opportunity yesterday because it seems that in the coming weeks, cold and bad weather will unfortunately arrive in Italy.
I'm talking about the Frassanelle Park and its caves, a very large private park located in Rovolon, near the Euganean Hills, a very evocative and charming place. Inside this park, artificial caves have been created, and that's why this place has become famous and frequented by many people from all over Italy.
I must admit that I had visited other parks in various villas across Italy, where I found artificial caves because it was a trend at that time to create these artificial caves. However, I had never seen caves as beautiful and well-made as these.
Once upon a time, they used to create these caves specifically to entertain the guests, and then we also need to understand that it was very cool inside, especially in the summer when the temperatures outside exceed 30°C.
The day didn't go perfectly because by the afternoon, the weather became increasingly cloudy and even threatened rain. However, I must say that these parks with all their open spaces are ideal, especially on sunny days, to spend excellent moments, even with family, and have a great weekend.
The highlight is undoubtedly the caves, although someone visiting this place, like me, told me that, in his opinion, the ticket price is quite high. I paid around 12 euros, but it's worth considering that there was a guide accompanying us, explaining every part of the park. This place is also rented for events, concerts, and even weddings.
Perhaps the thing that disappointed me a bit was the villa, probably because I had very high expectations. Not many rooms were visitable because a significant portion of them is still used as a private residence.
In conclusion, I must say it was still a great experience. It's always wonderful for me to discover new places in Italy, and when I have some free time, I always try to explore new things. I hope you enjoyed the photos I managed to take because it started raining at a certain point, and I couldn't take more.
As usual, I thank you for the affection you convey in the comments under the posts. See you next time, and I wish you a beautiful day.
