Today, let's continue my travel to Alcoy, Cebu. Before I proceed to Part 3, here's the link for Part 1 and Part 2 if ever you missed it. 😀
Did you know that going to the beach can't be expensive? It can be free actually! 😀 All you need to do is find an open public beaches. Let's find out how we got free beachin' at Tingko beach. 😀
During our trip to Alcoy, we go to the beach early morning the next day. We wanted to go to the beach early morning to avoid crowded beach and hot temperature. So upon waking up, we had our coffee and we eat sticky rice cake (bud-bud) for our breakfast.
Then, we prepared ourselves to go to the beach. We just bring a little amount of money for our fare and bring our phones of course. 😀 When we are all ready, we ride a tricicab from my friend family's house to the public free entry Tingko beach. I paid PHP 60.00 or 1.09 USD for our fare. It's only 20 pesos per head while the kid is free. It takes us about 10 minutes riding a tricicab to the beach.
There are already plenty of people beachin' when we arrived at Tingko beach. Look how stunning the beach is. You will fall in love with it. ❤️
There is really no entrance fee. Great! It's totally free! Because it is managed by the Barangay. To those who bring foods to the beach they can request to rent a table for about PHP 300.00 or 6.00 USD only. Since we don't have food, we sit only on the sand. 😀
When my feet feel the powdery white sand, I didn't swim immediately. I enjoy first the powdery white sand, the stunning crystal clear sea water and the view. I love it! I love the feeling of beachin'. ❤️ It relaxes my body, mind and soul.
After enjoying the powdery white sand, my feet bring me to the cool crystal clear sea water. It liven up my tired body. I feel like a kid that my mother allowed me to go swimming. 😁
I feel like I am a kid again. 😁 I wanted to play the powdery white sand and tried to make a castle. But, the waves been breaking it down in building my castle. 😁 I am super happy being free like a kid. 😁 Until the happiness I felt subsides when the castle been wiped out. 😁😁😁
When the sand castle been wiped out, I meditate for a minute while my feet enjoys the powdery white sand and the waves of the sea. I have takeaways from a short meditation.
- Life is full of waves. It maybe a calm waves or a rough waves. The rough waves come and go. While the calm waves mostly remain.
- Life is like a crystal clear water. At first, it is not clear to us of what is our purpose of living until we realized how we are appreciated and how we see our worth to those people around us.
- Life in a powdery white sand. Despite all the struggles we encounter in life, we can stand still and walk bare foot without fear and face the life we have with God's grace.
After a short meditation, I go back to the water and we enjoy swimming again for another few minutes. ❤️
After having a good time in the beach, we decided to go back to the house where we stayed. Before going home, we wanted to have a picture of us four. Thankfully, a guy besides us offer his self to take us pictures. So, here we are - me, my girl friend, his husband and their daughter. Thanks to the good guy because we got pictures to remember. 🥰
After the picture taking, we said thank you to the guy and we headed to the highway. While waiting for the tricicab to bring us home, I let the husband of my friend to take a picture of me while sitting on the bench with the stunning background. ❤️
In just few minutes, an empty tricicab arrived and we ride back home. I pay another PHP 60.00 for our fare. All in all, I only spend a total of PHP 120.00 for fare only. Because, we didn't spend any amount in beachin'. 🥰 Imagine, we were able to experience and enjoy for free the astonishing Tingko Beach of Alcoy, Cebu. ❤️
