Hail to the Hive,
Well we are still learning and finding our way. In this episode I managed to get us wedged in a lock at Foxton Locks in Leicestershire. Just one of the many things I have learned in the 6 weeks aboard badger the narrowboat. It's a steep learning curve but we are managing to find a way.
In this episode we leave Leicester City centre and make our way out to Foxton Locks, which is a staircase flight of locks comprising of 2 flights of 5 locks.
There's some lovely countryside along the way. We can't get enough of the scenery, truly stunning. The fact that we are viewing it from canals built over two hundred years ago is quite incredible. Something from the Industrial revolution that has given a lot back to nature and providing both recreation for many and in our case a place to live.
