Arunachal Pradesh | The Hidden Wonder of Seven Sisters!

I really want to visit Arunachal Pradesh with my friends. Then I went to the net and learned from Google Babaji that Indians themselves need separate permission to go here and Bangladeshis are not allowed to go there. But I kept in mind that I will definitely go if I ever get a chance.

Then one day I saw Ratan Bhai's post. He is also a fan of Arunachal like me. He will apply for permission to go there. Given this opportunity, without thinking of anything, I also applied for permission with Ratan Bhai. We apply a total of 6 people together. After about 15 days we got permission to go to Arunachal for only 13 days. March 1 - March 13!

As our port of 5 is with 4 places, we have not decided to go to Kolkata and meet in different ways. We left separately on the night of the 3rd and went to Guwahati the next afternoon. From there we left in the afternoon for Tezpur. Arriving at Tezpur, I got up at the hotel fixed beforehand. Then with the help of the hotel manager I booked a seat at Tata Sumo to go to Tawang. All vehicles from Tawang leave Tezpur by 5 am. Since our car is very early in the morning we eat dinner early and go to sleep preparing to leave very early in the morning.

The next night, around 4.30 pm, our phone rang. The driver had a problem with the snowfall on the Sela Pass, so we had to leave now. We have a short time because we sleep at night fully prepared
Get ready to go in. After a while our driver came to pick us up. We got in the car in the heavy rain and found out that our driver's name was "Raja" Hindustani. After we got in the car, it was about 5 o'clock to pick up the rest of the passengers.

On the NH 15 Highway, our Tata Sumo is running at a speed of about 110 kph and playing music at full volume. In this way Raja Hindustani gave us breakfast break at around 8 o'clock. After a light snack, we set off again at around 9 o'clock. After a while we realize our car is going up on a steep hilly road. The king told us that the road to Arunachal started from here. And a good road from here.

Then when our car stopped in front of a check post, I realized that we have to show our permit here. Our driver talked to the police and told us to get off. When we tell them in the car that we are Bangladeshis, they are very surprised, because the police of Arunachal are also very surprised to see us, and even after seeing our permission, they also say that they have not seen any Bangladeshi before, then we go to another senior officer, he is also a little surprised. Either because we are the first Bangladeshis who have been allowed to go here. He sees us and welcomes us to Arunachal with great respect.

The more we drive, the more the beauty of Arunachal Pradesh unfolds in front of us. Our jeep is running on Aka Baka hill road and singing at full volume. Sometimes canyons, sometimes water and water, sometimes green gardens or sometimes orange gardens, this is how we reach our destination. The 3 local passengers who came in the car with us got down here. After some distance, we parked our car in front of a hotel for lunch break. As soon as we got out of the car, we realized that we were moving to the land of ice, because our hands were freezing cold. When I went to lunch, I was a little surprised to see everyone drinking hot water. But after lunch we went out and realized what was in front of us. Just a lunch break, still a long way to go. At that time we were feeling very cold, I don't know what will happen next.

Then our car started moving again. After going some distance, the bare hills on both sides of us started to convert into white hills. A thrilling feeling was at work in us too. The king was talking to a driver from Tawang when our car was approaching with white hills on both sides. And we know there's a lot of snowfall upstairs, a lot of cars. So our driver stopped the car and sat down to fix the wheel, and we also got some time to take pictures as we wished.

I got out of the car and felt like I was in a different world. As if we are in a kingdom of heaven! Huge high mountains, each of which is completely covered with ice. Just snow-capped mountains all around. With unimaginable snowfall with great beautiful weather to welcome us! It was as if I was dreaming about why nature is so beautiful.

After being outside for about 20 minutes, when we saw that we were freezing cold, we quickly took some pictures and quickly everyone got in the car. We feel much better as the heater is already on in the car. Wet in the snow, when our driver got in the car after finishing the chains, it was really sad to see him, where we were freezing in the snow just to take pictures, he was busy chaining in the snow for about 30 minutes.

After fixing the wheel we start moving again. Our car was moving very slowly down the snow-covered hill. After only 15 minutes our car stopped. And we are surprised to think that our beloved Jam Babaji of Dhaka city has not left us behind here either. Unable to grip the wheel on the icy road, the car crashes, and the car crashes causing a complete road jam, which is limited for a long time. After some time, when the traffic jam started, I realized that our car also broke down. After being in one place for a long time, the wheels of our car could not grip, when the king could not make a cool edge despite doing many things, we were forced to push the car about 12600 feet.

We finally succeeded by pushing the car up about 12,600 feet. But getting in the car we faced a terrible situation. My heart rate started to rise and I started having difficulty breathing. Later I realized that we are all in the same situation. Feels a little better after being relaxed for a while. But sometimes it becomes painful for us to sit in the car to wear in the jam. It took us about 5 hours to cross the Selpas. At around 9 pm, our car stopped in front of an army checkpoint, the last checkpoint to enter Tawang. They are also a little surprised to hear Bangladeshi. When I asked them if any Bangladeshi was coming before us. They said that before that a group of 3 people came without any kind of permission, later they were arrested, we are the first Bangladeshis who take permission. With our permission, passport, and visa photocopy, we set off again for Tawang. At about 12 o'clock at night, after about 20 hours, our journey finally came to an end. We were able to reach Tawang. We booked our hotel by talking on the phone in advance, so we didn't have to look for the hotel so late at night, got up at the hotel and couldn't find anything else.

Bulbul woke up at 9 am the next day and called his brother. I woke up and saw that they had woken up long before me and had gone out to see the city of Tawang. After taking a bath at night and going to sleep, I got ready after getting fresh. After breakfast we go to see Nuranang Falls. About 2 hours later we reached this Nuranang Falls in Zhang city.

The Nuranang Falls is a beautiful place with cloudy skies, rivers, hills and waterfalls. There is a huge spring about 120 meters high and the fast flowing river Zhang from Bhutan flows by its side. Which supplies electricity to the whole of Arunachal Pradesh and parts of Bhutan. After spending about 1 hour here, we set off for the War Memorial. This war memorial commemorates the Sino-Indian war of 1951. After about 20 minutes we left again for the purpose of Tawang Monastery.

At 6,900 feet, the biggest attraction in the city of Tawang is the monastery, the largest in India and the second largest in the world. The monastery is home to about 800 lamas, thousands of beautiful statues from Tibet in the 18th century, and the work on the walls of the monastery is truly a sight to behold. After visiting the monastery, we moved to Tawang town in the afternoon. Then in the evening we go for a walk in the city. Unable to last long for almost minus the temperature, I hurried to the room. Everything in Tawang was closed by 7 pm, so we were asked to leave the hotel immediately for dinner. We were able to have dinner at around 9 o'clock, then we chatted in the room and fell asleep at around 12 o'clock at night.

The next day, one of our emergency work fell and he left for the country alone. And 4 of us go out in a car. Although he was supposed to leave at around 8 in the morning, he came 2 hours late as he had trouble getting oil. Prince, our guide and driver. We left for Chaksam Bridge around 8 in the morning. Built around 1360 AD, the bridge is located 28 km from Tawang city. The beauty of this 600-year-old hanging bridge and the jhiri flowing under it is truly astonishing.

After seeing the bridge we set off for Zemithang. Village Jemithang, surrounded by waterfalls, hills and rivers, as pictured near the border. It is like a dream country, just west of Arunachal and Tawang districts, bordering Bhutan and China. The distance from Tawang to Jemithang is 94 kilometers. Jemithang is a monastery of the Monpa community, Gorsam Monastery and the world's largest stove. The Akabaka Road, with its small waterfalls, deep ravines, enchanting rivers, lush greenery, and all the beautiful colorful flowering trees that make it so different from Tawang, make this Jemithang incredibly beautiful.

On the way back from Jemithang we visit Dolma Lhakhang Temple. The next day there is a fair here so we see a festive atmosphere here. All the lamas here were busy doing alpana like them which makes the environment of the temple more beautiful. In the afternoon, we hurried back and reached Tawang around 6 pm. Arriving at Tawang, we confirmed the seat at the agency to return to Guwahati the next morning.

The next morning we thought we would leave the place. Some shops in Tawang are open and almost all are closed due to some program, but I still go out in minus temperature and light snowfall to comfort my mind. At Tawang, at an altitude of 600 feet, we always get about 2 degrees Celsius during the day, which was minus from evening to the next morning. Only about 60,000 people live in the Tawang district, of which the Monpa population is the largest. According to the locals, it is the responsibility of the girls of Tawang to understand when the mood of the weather changes.

The next day at 8 am we got ready and left. At around 6 o'clock our car left for Tezpur. After 3 hours we started walking again with breakfast break. After crossing the crowded city, everything started to turn white again, where everything is covered with snow, sometimes there are some Indian army camps and all around there is only snow and ice. This time it was our turn to visit Selpas Lake, we could not see this lake as it was getting late for the jam on the day of going to Tawang. But we get out of the car and wonder where the lake we came to see is a huge ice field. The lake is located at an altitude of about 13,600 feet, which is covered with ice for most of the year. As it was very cold, one of us slipped and got hurt when we got into the car and took a picture of this lake and Tawang Gate. Then on the way back, on the way back we had the good fortune to enjoy the ice jam, for which we reached Guwahati and got up at the pre-arranged hotel at around 12 o'clock at night. And with this our Arunachal Pradesh or one dream tour comes to an end.

The cost of going and coming

I am from Dhaka to Kolkata. Then I came from Guwahati to Tawang via this route.
Kolkata - Guwahati Air's return (up down) ticket about 5 days ago.
As soon as we got down from Guwahati, we went to Tezpur in a Tempo Traveler car (about 4 hours, Tk. 280 per person), Tezpur. We got up at the hotel at night.
The next day we went to Tawang in a local Tata Sumo car (1100 Taka each). That's the way back.

Arunachal Pradesh is a province bordering China, Bhutan and Myanmar which is overseen by the Indian Army. Every Indian needs a separate permission to go there. And of course Bangladeshis. I don't know if anyone has gone before us because according to the comments of all those we have talked to, we are the first Bangladeshis whom they have seen. No foreigners are allowed to visit Tawang's Madhuri Lake, Pitiso Lake, Bumla Pass. For the time being, we went to the DC office and Army checkpost for permission, but to no avail. So you must take permission before going to Arunachal.
