Life is so changeable now... it's not like it used to be... you live for yourself, work, think about the future, plan not only weekends and vacations. Yesterday I was in Poland in Limanova. Everything suited me. There is a wonderful small, very well-kept town. Good friendly people. But there was no work for me. Or it was for a penny. And my Italy called me again! I am now in Venice Mestre. But about that later.

Життя тепер таке мінливе... немає так як було колись... живеш собі, працюєш, думаєш про майбутнє, плануєш не тільки вихідні дні в й відпустку. Вчора я була в Польщі в Лімановій. Все мені підходило. Там чудове маленьке, дуже доглянуте містечко. Добрі привітні люди. Але от роботи для мене не було. Або була за копійки. І мене знову покликала моя Італія! Я зараз в Венеція Местре. Але про це згодом.*
And now about our trip to Novy Songju. We read that there is a beautiful open-air museum in this place and decided to visit it. We left in the afternoon, after the end of the working day at my daughter Nadiya's.
А зараз про нашу поїздку до Нового Сонджу. Ми прочитали, що в цьому місці знаходиться прекрасний музей під відкритим небом і вирішили його відвідати. Ми вирушили в другій половині дня, після закінчення робочого дня у моєї дочки Надії.
It was a beautiful summer day. It was not hot, there was a breeze. In such weather it is good to go for walks.
As they say, we "flew into the last carriage!" In a couple of minutes, the entrance to the open-air museum would be closed. We were happy that we had not covered the distance from Limanova to Novy Songju in vain. Gasoline is very expensive now!

Ми як то кажуть "влетіли в останній вагон!" За пару хвилин вхід до скансена був би закритий. Ми були щасливі, що не марно здолали відстань від Ліманової до Нового Сонджу. Бензин зараз дуже дорогий!
Sandets open-air ethnographic museum was founded in 1969. It occupies 20 hectares. The Skansen is divided into zones, where you can get to know the architecture and lifestyle of the Lyakhs, Highlanders, Gurals, Lemks, Carpathian Gypsies and Galician Germans.

On the territory of the open-air museum there are 70 unique buildings that were transported from villages. These are residential buildings, stables, churches and chapels, mills, sawmills, barns and chicken coops, chapels and other buildings.

Peasant houses are mostly made of wooden beams. They are low with small windows. All because glass was very expensive in those days. And low to make it warmer. The houses of the peasants were covered with straw. Houses without a chimney, smoke came out of the house and made its way outside because of fear. Such houses were called dusty houses. There were no floors in such houses. The top was placed with liquid clay. The house is plastered with lime from above and inside. Such a white house is so worth it that you want to go inside and see what is there and how it is arranged

Зверху та всередині хата помащена вапном. Стоїть собі така біленька хатка аж хочеться зайти в середину і подивитись що там і як облаштовано.

My grandson could not believe that animals and poultry could live together with people in the house. I explained to Max that the animals warmed themselves and warmed people with their warmth. The winters at that time were very frosty and snowy. In the house we see primitive zoning. It was a kitchen with simple utensils necessary for cooking and eating. We also saw a large table with chairs where the family sat, had lunch and dinner. Images of saints hang on the walls, which is of great importance in the religious life of the villagers. A large wooden bed with a haystack in another corner created the bedroom area. At the entrance, opposite a large kitchen with an oven for baking bread, there was a place for livestock. This is how peasants lived in Poland in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Всі фотографії я робила з допомогою фотоспалаху адже в хаті бідного селянина світла не було. В хаті було темно. Для того щоб розгледіти обстановку ми включали ліхтарики в телефонах. Мій внук не міг повірити, що разом з людьми в домі могли жити і тварини та свійська птиця. Я пояснила Максу, що тварини зігрівалися самі і гріли своїм теплом людей. Зими тодішні були дуже морозні і сніжні. В хаті ми бачимо примітивне зонування. Це була кухня з нехитрим начинням, необхідним для приготування та споживання їжі. Також ми побачили великий стіл зі стільцями, де сім'я сідала, обідала та вечеряла. На стінах висять образи святих, що має велике значення в релігійному житті селян. Велике дерев'яне ліжко з сінником в іншому кутку створювало зону спальні. При вході, навпроти великої кухні з печею для випікання хліба якраз і знаходилось місце для худоби. От так у 19-20 століттях жили селяни у Польщі.

На горбочку між зелених дерев красується простора, біла хата заможного шляхтича. Фасад весь обріс диким виноградом. Ми заходимо в середину і бачимо зовсім іншу обстановку ніж в хаті бідного селянина. Чудові дорогі меблі з цінних порід дерев. Фортепіано та шафи. Столик для кави з срібним сервісом . Кухня також має інший вигляд. Посуд фаянсовий. Каструлі мідні. Все набагато добротніше. Що і не дивно!
We were interested in windmills. These were mills that were powered by the wind. Too bad they don't work. I would like to hear their creak and see how they spin like the wings of a huge bird.
Нас зацікавили млини з вітряками. Це були млини, які приводились в дію за допомогою вітру. Шкода, що вони не функціонують. Хотілося б почути їх скрип та подивитись як вони крутяться як крила величезної птахи.
Along the winding forest path, we came to the place where the huge buildings are located. This is a water mill, a sawmill that was set in motion under the influence of water. Water flowed down long channels and fell with force on the water wheel. People have always thought about how to make ends meet. To free himself from hard work, man used the power of wind and water. It was especially interesting to see all the buildings and mechanisms of my Maksymkov. He asked us questions, and we answered his questions.
Then we went to the town of Galicia, which I have already told you about.
We really liked the Sondeck open-air museum. We got into ancient times and could see how our ancestors lived. It was interesting both for us and for my grandson.

По лісовій звивистій стежині ми підійшли до місця, де розташовані величезні будівлі. Це водяний млин, пилорама, які проводились в рух під дією води. Вода поступала по довгих жолобах і з силою падала на водяне колесо. Люди завжди думали як собі домомогти. Щоб звільнити себе від важкої праці людина використовувала силу вітру та води. Особливо було цікаво роздивитися всі будівлі і механізми моєму Максимкові. Він розпитував нас, а ми відповідали на його запитання.
Потім ми пішли в Галіційське містечко, про яке я вже розповідала.
Нам дуже сподобалось в Сондецькому музеї під відкритим небом. Ми потрапили у давнину і могли побачити як жили наші предки. Це було цікаво як для нас так і для мого внука.
