Today was an exciting day as my family and I decided to visit Adventure Island in Rohini. After attending my college fest in the morning, we reached the amusement park in the mid-afternoon. Little did we know that India’s first 3D trick art museum in Rohini had recently closed, simultaneously causing disappointment for my brother.
Upon entering Adventure Island, he forgot about his disappointment regarding the museum's closure. Firstly we bumped into the VR Play System where we were handed a booklet showcasing a wide range of options available over there. The choices were endless, including Cricket, Basketball, Shooting 9D Zombies, Rollercoaster ride, Skywalk, Bowling, Fruit ninja, Warrior Shooting, Fear of heights, Ice skating, Football, Space & Science, and many more.
I decided to try the skywalk, while my brother opted for the rollercoaster ride. The virtual reality experience was both fun and scary, but I quickly adapted to the virtual world and walked on the wooden plank. After the exhilarating VR experience, we headed to the Gaming Zone. Here, we explored another VR game called Jurassic Park. The lifelike graphics and immersive environment made us feel like we were truly in the prehistoric era.
Following that, my brother and I decided to have some friendly competition on the bumper car ride. We joyfully bumped into each other, chasing one another around the track. I also tried the aliens extermination game, while my brother indulged in the superbike race game. The adrenaline rush from these games was simply incredible.
After playing numerous games, we took a break and visited Decathlon, Pantaloons, and Woodland to explore their winter collections. The chilly weather in Delhi made us appreciate the warm clothing options available. Although we wanted to explore more rides, the cold night and our dinner plans with my grandfather, paternal aunt, and cousins compelled us to leave early.
Just like the rides at Adventure Island, life is a roller coaster filled with ups and downs. This year has been a thrilling adventure, and our visit to Adventure Island was the perfect way to bid farewell to 2023. As we welcome 2024, I wish everyone a happy new year filled with more fun, adventure, joyous moments, and happiness. Cheers to the upcoming year!
