I fell in love with Italy back in 1990...during the football world cup and specially thanks to one of my favorite footballer...Roberto Baggio!!! Ohhhh those were amazing days!

Anyway this is another subject that we can talk very long on...let's come back to my post of the day!

Before continue this post, I would like to remind everyone that all the photos I am sharing are mine and were taken back in 2009 with the Iphone 3 I had during those days!

I spent one month in Italy in 2009, exactly in Rome and I did have the opportunity to visit a lot of amazing places - and Colloseum was among the most memorable one!

Yeah...that's me in front of the Colosseum!

The only issue is that I have already forgot all the names of the different places I've been that time...maybe our Italian friends here can help me out to know the names of the monuments and buildings that I visited back in 2009!

For those who don't know much about the Collosseum, let me write couple of words for you to get an idea of this great place!

Commonly known as Colosseo in Italy, it is the largest amphitheater ever built in the whole world and still standing!

It is found in the center of the city of Rome, just east of the Roman Forum!

It could hold around 50000 to 80000 spectators at various points in its history. Mainly used for gladiatorial contests as well as public spectacles, executions etc...

Due to earthquakes and stone robbers, it is substantially ruined but still an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome and one of the most popular tourist attractions of Rome!

As mentioned before, if I get the opportunity to visit Italy again...**I will definitely jump on that occasion without hesitation!
