Good eve fellow hivers.
Last month, April I went for 1 day outing in Bangalore with my hubby.
Just 50 km away from bangalore. Its a perfect weekend gateway for the city people of Bangalore. There was a temple named shree bhoga & yoga nandiswara swamy temple or may call it Bhoganandishwara temple. It is located in Nandi village in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka, India. The temple is beautifully carved and dedicated to Lord Shiva. it is the oldest surviving temple based on architecture. The temple itself is 1200 years old has different Eras of architecture . The temple dates back to the 9th century as per records. The main deity is Lord Shiva.
The temple complex has two large shrines.
This is the main entrance of the temple.
As we entered the temple, there is a large country yard.
Here is the hills with the sculptured image of Nandi (the bull). It's a huge statue of the bull in front of the temple.
View of the large Maha mantapa (main hall) and marriage hall.
Parvati shrine in the temple complex, and pillar art in the temple.
Yali pillars at the mandapa at the temple complex.
The real glory of temple is revealed once you enter the inner complex of the temple. It is like stepping into a different Era.

The main temple bhoga nandiswara temple has a majestic Shiva linga.
The pillars are covered in a beautiful carvings. There are also figures of women's, some doing sringaar. The Nandi idol infront of the sanctum in this temple is more attractive.
Some other pics in the temples are shown below.
There is a chariot, built delicately with woods, so many Gods and desings were carved from woods to decorate the chariot.
Good place for people who like such structures. Enjoy the great old culture 🙏 .
