Hello Everyone,
It's been a while since I have uploaded something from The Mountains and The Himalayas on Hive. I must admit that I have shifted to Delhi for my further studies. But the experience doesn't end here; during the course of a few days when I visited my hometown during vacation, I visited and explored a small portion of Himachal Pradesh's Bhuntar Valley.

So here we are!

Driving on the most beautiful Highway going through the magical Valley of Kullu, where by the the side you the road you’ll feel the fresh air of the river Beas which flows by the side of the road through the whole journey.

Numerous green mountains fully covered up with just lush green grass and the pine tress enhancing the beauty of the Valley to its fullest.

The drive form the place I live to the place were we were headed up to was about of near about two to three hours and we were just going towards a different valley which was Ansar Valley. The overall distance form (Manali) our location the village (Jalpa) where we planned to go was near about 60 KM.

After driving through the national Highway for and hour or so we were on the link road which was heading towards our destination. The views from the road was just so amazing as we were literally travelling to the top of the mountain by the road which was in curves and after every single curve a different view was seen.

The clouds appeared to be practically at our level during the wonderful, brilliant Monsoon afternoon here. Just everything seemed to be so wonderful.

Few of the mountains were still isolated form the human populating and there were even a lot of places hidden in the magical Ansar Valley which in todays date were even isolated form the human mankind.

Just look at how stunning these mountain peaks are, and how tranquil it must be to gaze at them for hours. I won't lie; I could almost gaze at these for hours while getting a mental boost for productive thinking. When I look at these peaks, I feel like they still have so much to say.

After driving from near about two to three hours, as a result, we finally arrived at the location from which we had to walk for a while in order to get to our destination, the Jalpa Mata Temple, which is flawlessly situated between the Jalpa Village of Himachal Pradesh.

IMG_7841 Large.jpeg
This location has a gorgeous view. Everything appears to be so beautiful from this place because it is located near the summit of the mountain. As you can see, the sky also looked very attractive.

IMG_7847 Large.jpeg
The pathway from which we had to pass through looked something like this.
The pathway was also headed towards the ancient village of Jalpa were The ancient Jalpa Mata temple was located.

IMG_7849 Large.jpeg
The houses at this village were made up of stones and few of them even had their roofs covered up with sleeth.

While passing by the village I noticed many different things that people at this isolated place still wants to be isolated in their own world they do not want to loose their peace by constructing and modernising their village/ the place they used to live. I fond that people from this place were so happy in themselves and they also enjoyed painting their own organic fruits and veggies as while passing by I saw a little boy who was crying a huge plastic basket and was going towards his farm to bring fresh veggies.

IMG_7853 Large.jpeg
The ancient Himalayan Houses looked something like this and by the side of there houses the walls and the outer area of the house was covered up with the dry grass so that the house could stay warm and the grass for the cattle could also be stored.

IMG_7860 Large.jpeg
It was a whole lot of different experience walking through the peaceful fields of fresh fruits and vegetables.

IMG_7926 Large.jpeg
I noticed that there were few of the apple tress which were fully covered up with the apples

IMG_7928 Large.jpeg
I was relieved to believe that, as we were moving, we were indeed above the clouds, and a rainbow also emerged out of nowhere. Guys, it was just a major boon!

IMG_7922 Large.jpeg
So finally after walking through the pathway I finally reached the ancient Jalpa Mata Temple which was built about 400 years back and is hidden in this place of Ansar Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The Japla Mata Temple was a built up of wood and stones and all the carving done on the wood were hand carved by local artists.

Here are few of the photographs that I captured of the wooden carvings which was totally done by the artists.
