Hola Hivers, estoy iniciando por aquí y qué mejor manera de hacerlo que contándoles sobre mi viaje a uno de mis lugares favoritos en el mundo “LA PLAYA”, pues sí soy amante de la playa y de la tranquilidad que me inspira estar ahí.
Hi Hivers, I'm starting here and what better way to do it than telling you about my trip to one of my favorite places in the world "THE BEACH", because yes I am a beach lover and the tranquility that being there inspires me.
Octubre y Noviembre fueron meses de mucho estrés, para mi y para mi novio, quien dedica gran parte de su vida a hacer política, y para los que son Venezolanos y lo saben, en Noviembre del 2021 se llevaron a cabo una elecciones bastante amplias en nuestro país, lo que implicaba que, 24/7 él estaría en actividades y reuniones relacionadas a ese tema. Entonces, partiendo de allí, era semanas de mucho estrés y trabajo para él y también para mi, porque aunque soy Community Manager y trabajo en casa (que más adelante les hablaré de eso); era trabajo para mi también porque había decidido apoyarlo en todo, entonces siempre andábamos de un lugar al otro haciendo muchísimas cosas.
October and November were very stressful months, for me and for my boyfriend, who dedicates a great part of his life to politics, and for those of you who are Venezuelan and know it, in November 2021 there was a very wide election in our country, which implied that, 24/7 he would be in activities and meetings related to that topic. So, starting from there, it was weeks of a lot of stress and work for him and also for me, because although I am a Community Manager and I work at home (I will talk about that later); it was work for me too because I had decided to support him in everything, so we were always going from one place to the other doing a lot of things.
Así que, ¡POR FIN LLEGA DICIEMBRE! y podemos tomarnos un par de días de descanso, de sentir las olas en los pies y respirar aire natural. Haciendo planes, una pareja de amigos cercanos nos propuso irnos los 4 a la playa al apartamento de un tío de uno de ellos, cosa que, nos pareció excelente plan y nos fuimos al paraíso, mejor conocido como Tucacas, ubicado en el Estado Falcón, aquí en Venezuela, lugar que está ubicado justo a 2 horas de la ciudad donde vivo.
So, DECEMBER IS FINALLY COMING! and we can take a couple of days off, feel the waves on our feet and breathe natural air. Making plans, a couple of close friends suggested the 4 of us to go to the beach to the apartment of an uncle of one of them, which we thought was an excellent plan and we went to paradise, better known as Tucacas, located in Falcon State, here in Venezuela, a place that is located just 2 hours from the city where I live.
Llegamos el jueves 02 de Diciembre, a eso de las 6 de la tarde al apartamento y eso fue dejando las cosas, cambiandonos, traje de baño y ¡pum! fuimos a la piscina a relajarnos, como la piscina estaba un poco fría decidimos irnos al jacuzzi, agua tibia, y la mejor compañía para disfrutar. Cuando les digo que estoy de vuelta en mi lugar favorito es que debido a la pandemia las playas estuvieron cerradas durante mucho tiempo, y aunque ya había ido antes, tenía ya 6 meses sin ir a la playa, entonces volver era un deseo que necesitaba cumplir.
We arrived on Thursday December 02, at about 6 pm to the apartment and that was leaving things, changing, bathing suit and boom! we went to the pool to relax, as the pool was a little cold we decided to go to the jacuzzi, warm water, and the best company to enjoy. When I tell you that I am back in my favorite place is that due to the pandemic the beaches were closed for a long time, and although I had been there before, I had already 6 months without going to the beach, so going back was a desire that I needed to fulfill.
Entonces así comenzó un fin de semana increíble para nosotros, les muestro un poco el lugar donde nos estábamos quedando, teníamos una playa super cerca pero no nos gustaba mucho y decidimos no ir, si no el viernes en la mañana, pararnos temprano y salir a uno de los cayos que hay en Tucacas.
So that was the beginning of an incredible weekend for us, I show you a little bit of the place where we were staying, we had a super close beach but we did not like it very much and decided not to go, but on Friday morning, we stopped early and went out to one of the keys that are in Tucacas.
Nos levantamos temprano y nos arreglamos para salir, preparamos unos sandwich de jamón y queso, desayunamos y salimos a comprar algunas cosas que nos hacían falta y entre vuelta y vuelta nos dió hambre de nuevo y nos comimos unas Empanadas deliciosas, en un puesto de una señora a la orilla de la carretera, luego de allí si nos fuimos al embarcadero para salir en lancha al cayo que decidimos ir que lleva por nombre “Playuela”, un lugar que sin duda alguna te deja sin palabras de lo hermoso que es.
We got up early and got ready to leave, we prepared some ham and cheese sandwiches, had breakfast and went out to buy some things that we needed, and between the turns we got hungry again and we ate some delicious Empanadas, in a stall of a lady on the side of the road, then from there we went to the pier to go by boat to the key that we decided to go which is called "Playuela", a place that certainly leaves you speechless of how beautiful it is.
Llegamos y decidimos sentarnos bajo un árbol en la arena, alquilamos 4 sillas y pasamos el día entero disfrutando de la playa, aunque el clima estaba un poco gris e incluso nos llovió, luego salió el sol y pudimos seguir disfrutando, en un momento del día yo me quede en el agua mientras Daniel salió a la arena a servir un trago y comenzó a llamarme, pero que me apurara, cuando llegó a la orilla había escrito en la arena “Quieres ser mi novia?”, pues sí resulta que estaba volviendo a pedirme que fuera su novia y obviamente le dije que sí, fue un momento muy especial y tierno, me encantó. Evidentemente, durante todo el día le pedí que me tomara fotos y lo hizo muy bien en realidad, tengo fotos increíbles allí.

A eso de las 4 de la tarde nos fueron a buscar y nos llevaron de vuelta al embarcadero, de allí buscamos el carro en el estacionamiento y de nuevo rodamos hasta el apartamento, cuando llegamos al apartamento, Daniel, mi novio, y Jesús, nuestro amigo, decidieron hacer una parrilla que quedó deliciosa, comimos muchísimo, tanto que quedamos muy full, al punto que nos quedamos como 1 hora sentados haciendo la digestión, luego nos fuimos de nuevo al jacuzzi, y a eso de las 11:30 pm decidimos subir al apartamento a descansar para poder disfrutar del sábado que sería nuestro último día en el paraíso, aunque quería disfrutar de la playa al menos 2 semanas más, todos teníamos responsabilidades y el domingo debíamos volver a la realidad.
At about 4 pm we were picked up and taken back to the pier, from there we looked for the car in the parking lot and rolled back to the apartment, when we arrived at the apartment, Daniel, my boyfriend, and Jesus, our friend, decided to make a barbecue that was delicious, we ate a lot, so much that we were very full, to the point that we stayed about 1 hour sitting making digestion, then we went back to the jacuzzi, and at about 11: 30 pm we decided to go up to the apartment to rest in order to enjoy Saturday which would be our last day in paradise, although I wanted to enjoy the beach at least 2 more weeks, we all had responsibilities and on Sunday we had to return to reality.
Llegó el sábado, nos levantamos, hicimos desayuno y directo los 4 a la piscina, pasamos una mañana agradable, disfrutando del clima y de poder estar con mi persona favorita en el lugar que más me gusta en el mundo. De almuerzo, Karelys, nuestra otra amiga, preparo unas hamburguesas que estaban buenísimas y las bajo a la piscina, comimos y terminamos de pasar una linda tarde en la piscina, conversando juntos y tomandonos unos tragos. Cayó la noche y de la piscina nos fuimos a bañar, los muchachos hicieron de nuevo parrilla y bajamos a comer, de allí nos fuimos al supermercado a comprar chucherías para pasar la noche y cuando llegamos al apartamento, todos queríamos solo acostarnos y descansar.
Saturday arrived, we got up, had breakfast and went straight to the pool, we spent a nice morning, enjoying the weather and being with my favorite person in the place I like the most in the world. For lunch, Karelys, our other friend, prepared some hamburgers that were delicious and took them down to the pool, we ate and finished spending a nice afternoon at the pool, talking together and having a few drinks. Night fell and from the pool we went for a swim, the guys grilled again and we went down to eat, from there we went to the supermarket to buy some goodies to spend the night and when we got to the apartment, we all just wanted to go to bed and rest.
Cabe acotar que, me bronceé muchísimo a pesar de haberme colocado bloqueador, y bueno pase de ser morena a ser mucho más morena jajaja, de verdad que fue un viaje poco planeado pero sin duda alguna muy disfrutado.
It is worth mentioning that I got a great tan in spite of having applied sunscreen, and well, I went from being a brunette to being much more tanned hahaha, it was a trip that was not very well planned but without a doubt very enjoyable.
Llegó el domingo y ese fue un día de organizar, recoger todas las cosas y volver a casa, salimos a eso de las 8:30 de la mañana de Tucacas y como les dije, es un viaje de dos horas, a las 10:30 de la mañana ya me encontraba en mi casa organizando todo y dándome un baño para salir a un compromiso que tenía.
Sunday arrived and it was a day of organizing, picking up all the things and going back home, we left Tucacas at about 8:30 in the morning and as I told you, it is a two hour trip, at 10:30 in the morning I was already at home organizing everything and taking a bath to go out to an appointment I had.
Y así fue como disfruté de un fin de semana increíble, con personas increíbles, queriendo quedarme miles de días y no volver jamás jajaja.
And that's how I enjoyed an incredible weekend, with incredible people, wanting to stay for thousands of days and never come back hahaha.
