Travel Digest #1582

Introduction

Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. We'll be walking back in time today as our Top 3 Pinmapple posts will visit some places with a rich history. First, an epic 6 day travel to the lost world in Venezeula, next we walk the footsteps of children from a couple centuries ago in Norway. And finally, not as strenuous as the previous two, we visit a village in Albania which strips life back to the basics. Which is your favourite? Let us know!!

🥇 Walking to the lost world... Roraima, Venezuela / Caminando hacia el mundo perdido… Roraima, Venezuela by @sofathana

! It is said that this place is one of the most amazing natural spaces in the world, and I really believe that it's not an exaggeration, I have proof of that and I'm here to present it. Have you heard or seen anything about it? It is located in the south of Venezuela, in Bolivar state. I invite you to get to know it through my experience and if you have already visited it, you will surely enjoy seeing it again, remembering moments of that extraordinary journey.!

The start of the trail is marked with a wooden pole with a children's shoe and the blue mark that we will follow all the way. It made an impression to see the shoe that reminded me of the children who walked here in all kinds of weather and maybe without shoes ..."

🥉 The House in The Village, Pellumbus, and the fortress at Petrala. Albania. May 22 by @grindle

" Here to visit a project started by a local resident who was doing his best to bring life back to his community

It wasn't really a village, just a few old buildings and unmade trails, in this day and age the youth of today are moving away to the cities and towns, in search of fame and fortune as an instachatagram "influencer". Get a proper job and look after your granny.."
