Travel Digest #1039

Introduction

Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. I have two announcements today.

First, as of the time of writing, there are 21 hours left to enter our Pinmapple Thousand contest and win part of the 2000 Hive prize pool. I know some of you had problems entering the raffle draw, if that still persist, please jump onto our discord channel or ping @martibis to see how he can help you. And there's still time to squeeze in one, or maybe even two posts for the writing contest.

The second announcement is about our curation team. Unfortunately @itchyfeetdonica had to leave the team due to work committments in real life. She's been with us for two years and the team wants say a big thanks to her for being part of us, she will be missed and we hope to see her back on the chain sometime. Tomorrow, we have a new curator join us. If you've been lingering around on the haveyoubeenhere community, you may have seen this person metion it. This person isn't as pretty as @itchyfeetdonica, but they'll do! 😉 Just joking, check out the #TravelDigest tomorrow to see who our new curator is. I'm sure you will agree that he/she is a great fit to the Pinmapple team. We are delighted that they've agreed to come on board.

Afterwards we continued touring the place, we took a break to eat something and walked along a path where there is a long walkway from where you can see the Devil's Throat more closely. What a beauty friends! What an eye-catching place, you have to see it live to feel and record that wonder in your mind! Those huge waterfalls with their foamy fury like snow bringing divine dew towards us. I never got tired of looking and looking and seeing under the viewpoint small lagoons and some baby crocodiles swimming.

🥈 A Breathtaking Mountainous Border Region in the North East of Vietnam by @trangbaby

Today, I'm excited to take you to a mountainous border province in the North East of Vietnam, name Cao Bang . It's an immensely beautiful and sparsely populated frontier region. Therefore, this land has offered a variety of natural resources that will present you another pure nature of authentic Viet Nam. 🙂There are 2 seasons: the rainy season ( April-September) and dry season (October- March)How to get to Cao Bang? It's 280 kilometers away and about 6-8 hours drive from Hanoi. Travelers can get there by "sleeping bus" or "Limosine".

I ❤️ Thailand, not only the landscapes are breathtaking but the kindness of the Thai people is great! Do you know a lot of ferries that slow down their engines and slowly approach some spots so that you can enjoy the view?A nice way to get in the mood with these last kilometers before arriving at the port.
