The idea to write about the Carpathians from the bus window came when I was leaving the village Lisarnia, where I spent three wonderful days at the Belle Royalle base.
Ідея написати про Карпати з вікна автобуса виникла, коли я їхали з села Лісарня, де провела на базі Belle Royalle три чудових дні.
Lisarnia is a village in the Mukachevo District of the Zakarpattia Region of Ukraine.
I was invited to a VIP party. It was a pleasant surprise. We got on a double-decker bus and as I wrote earlier we were taken in an unknown direction )))
Мене запросили на VIP вечірку на честь Дня народження фірми мого сина. Це був приємний сюрприз. Ми сіли в двохповерховий автобус і як я писала раніше, нас повезли в невідомому напрямку )))
The road there was fun! More than 100 people who know each other well gathered in one bus, imagine 😀 The funniest went on the bus with a bottle of whiskey and treated everyone. So there was no time to look out the window)))
Туди дорога була веселою! Більше 100 людей, які добре знають один одного зібрались в одному автобусі, уявляєте 😀 Найбільш веселі ходили по автобусу з пляшкою віскі і всіх пригощали. Тому дивитись у вікно не було часу )))

There I enjoyed every phenomenon of nature: amazing flowers, butterflies, locusts that flew to my balcony ...

But when we was going back after two active evenings, everyone slept on the bus. And I can't sleep on the bus, so I looked out the window.
А ось коли ми їхали назад після проведених двох активних вечорів🥳, в автобусі всі спали. А я в автобусі не вмію спати, тому дивилась у вікно.
At first I did not plan to take a photo, knowing that it will not be of good quality. But then, fascinated by the scenery, I thought - Cool topic: Carpathians from the window! You may like this express tour from Svalyava to Stryi!

And here we pass Svalyava - a city in the Mukachevo district of the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine. It is located within the Svalyava Basin, on the Latorytsia River.
І ось ми проїзджаємо Сваляву — місто в Мукачівському районі Закарпатській області України. Розміщене у межах Свалявської улоговини, на річці Латориці, при впадінні в неї річки Свалявки.

Я хочу більше дізнатись про місто Свалява, де я ніколи не була , а лише бачу з вікна захоплюючі краєвиди! Читаю на сайті:
Мрієте про спокійний відпочинок, і щоб з вікна обов’язково відкривався гірський краєвид? Тоді вам до Сваляви! Це закарпатське містечко відоме своїми мінеральними джерелами.
Свалявські мінеральні води були відомі ще в Середні Віки. За угорського панування їх відправляли до Московії, де води дуже цінувалися. Пізніше пани Шенборни не виявили до джерел великої цікавості, але оскільки були хазяйновитими, здавали в оренду свалявські джерела, а коли через місто пройшла залізниця — мінеральна вода почала мандрувати Європою, розлита по пляшкам. З водою пов’язаний кумедний випадок. Весела компанія добряче погуляла на берегах Латориці — і догуляла до того, що розлила вино просто у дупло з мінеральним джерелом. Але змішане з мінералкою вино виявилось настільки смачним, що народився новий напій — “фрич”. Себто вино, розведене мінеральною водою. Добрий фрич ви можете покуштувати на Закарпатті і сьогодні.
And here the mountain pass! I've heard the word so many times, but I don't really know what it means. I read in Wikipedia:
What is a mountain "pass"?
it is the lowest accessible and safe place to cross between the two peaks of the mountain range. Somewhere we can imagine a string of mountain peaks, and between them membranes (saddles). This is the lowest point of these intersections is the pass. It is now clear why passes in the mountains play such an important role.
І ось ми минаємо перевал! Я так багато раз чула це слово, але не знаю насправді що воно означає. Читаю в вікіпедії:
Що таке гірський "перевал"?
це найнижче доступне та безпечне місце для переходу між двома вершинами гірського хребта. Десь можемо собі уявити вервечку гірських вершин, а між ними перетинки (сідловини). Ось якраз найнижча точка цих перетинок є перевалом. Тепер стає зрозуміло, чому у горах перевали відіграють таку важливу роль.
It's an exciting process - when the bus is racing at high speed, to capture shots of beautiful mountain landscapes that change every second, like the pictures I paint one after another.
Це захоплюючий процес - коли автобус мчить на великій швидкості, ловити кадри прекрасних гірських краєвидів, які кожної секунди міняються, як картини які я малюю одну за одною.
Sometimes you can capture footage of huts and churches, and you can see elements of peasant life, such as gardens or haystacks ...
Іноді вдається вхопити кадри з хатинками та церквами, а також ти можеш бачити елементи життя селян, як наприклад городи чи копиці сіна...
And here we are already passing Skole where the mountains are steeper and more rocky. The road is along the river.
І ось ми вже проїзджаємо Сколе де гори є більш стрімкі та скелясті. Дорога є вздовж ріки.
And finally we arrived in Stryi where the mountains smoothly turn into a plain. And the weather is sunny, which you can see in the last photo, where you can see the river Stryi. And I would so like to get off the bus and swim :)
І нарешті ми прибули до Стрия, де гори плавно переходять у рівнину. А погода сонячна, що ви можете побачити на останньому фото, де видно річку Стрий. І я б так хотіла вийти з автобуса і поплавати :)
