A story that dates back to antiquity and has remained deeply engraved to this day, you can still see farms and former tools for working in the field or some that were used in the household in Vojvodina.
Today, I am on one such property, which I walked through, and I must admit that such properties have begun to become extinct, but today it is like an open-air museum.
The property I am on, tucked between the village houses in Crvena Crkva, would not be noticed if it was not marked, because this large space is surrounded by high walls, and inside is a real small museum of old things, which includes a restaurant within this complex.
Salasi has ruled the plain of Vojvodina since ancient times. In the past, farmsteads were agricultural estates that, like small fortresses, protected and cultivated various crops, generations of farmers.
As times have changed and modernization of agricultural machines has taken place, such as tractors and various others for faster and easier land cultivation, properties have begun to die out and are slowly sinking into oblivion.
Since the Middle Ages, there have been farms in the entire area of the Pannonian Plain, most of them in our area were in Banat. Fortunately, some places are still preserved and arranged, because tourism has entered all this sad story about farms, which has made these places fairytale places or like an open-air museum of old things.
So let’s take a look at what can be seen from old things that are on display in the open!
At the very entrance on the right is an old building, which was once used to store cereals, such as corn, without which it was not possible to imagine a larger property.
There is also an inscription on it with the name of the Banatski Raj manor.
The old plow, which people used to plow a long time ago, today stands as a memory of some past times, as a witness to an ancient past.
Decoratively, a well was made because today it is rare to see old wells, it is hung on it and a bucket with which water was taken out of the well, and under it is a basket in which corn is carried, in this situation it represents the well itself.
Here is another similar creative well, but on it are hung dishes in which food used to be cooked or bread made.
Here is an old bike, which can still be seen by a villager, but here it adorns this garden, the details of the basket are decorative.
Decorative items made of clay, such as boots filled with flowers.
A decorative object, which is made of bottles and tiles, and in each of its openings there is a small clay figure.
The old unusual stump on which the bucket is hung, probably represents a former water pump.
I'm not sure, but I think that this tool used to be used for sowing some cereals.
Wine barrels, which our plain is still proud of, because even today vines are grown and various wines are made.
Here is a bench that is made of pallets, it is not an old-fashioned thing, but it fits in perfectly with other details.

One of the most beautiful details are the old carriages that were used to transport people or food, today they serve as decorative carriages in which there are pots with creepers with which the carriages are wrapped.
So we climbed the concrete path to the building which is a restaurant where they serve traditional and delicious food.
The view from the terrace includes the surroundings of a small village, a church and the Carpathians that stretch into the distance.
After a certain walk, one lunch was welcome, we traditionally ordered kebabs and Karadjordj's steak, which were very tasty.
Farmsteads used to be field estates with a house and surrounding buildings. Today, they have been turned into places for rest, recreation or pop of this in a restaurant with an open-air museum of old things.
All in all, the farmsteads were saved from decay and turned into a real tourist attraction.
