Pirates of the Caribbean, Toyoko Disneyland, Japan.

It was a big day visiting Toyoko Disneyland as there is a lot to do and experience. We only had enough time for 2 or 3 of the rides. It was a tough choice trying to decide which ones to do. The Pirates of the Caribbean was one of my favourites movies as my son was growing up. From memory the was a few of them which were all pretty good. Of all the Disney rides this was my first pick mainly because the Disney app said the line was only 25 minutes long wait in the queue and some of the other more popular ones were 120 to 180 minutes.

These big theme parks are expensive but super well organised. The queues don’t seem that long when you join them but they have a sneaky way of wrapping the lines around, up and down utilising every spare inch of the rides fore court space. Generally lines move pretty fast and the waiting area are well decorated and interesting.

Before you know it your at the front and other people are exiting as you step into a seat.

I have been to a few different theme parks over the years with my son. The pirates of the Caribbean has no real surprises, just a twisty turn boat ride through a number of well decorated and designed areas which included a short drop and splash but we did not even get wet sitting in the front. I suppose Disneyland is more aimed at young families with smaller children.
