I thought the mishmashes of architecture in the cities I have been in were interesting, I'm kind of curious about how it must look in a REALLY old city.
I really like those areas. I love the uneven cobbled streets that are narrow and hold small, independent businesses that are for the most part quiet. There are a lot of areas like that in London, Covent Garden is very much like that. Perhaps I'll do another post but on Covent Garden. I spent a lot of time roaming through it the other day and filmed a lot of things.
