Greetings to everyone in this great community! We are Omar and Dina from @musicandreview and this time we want to show you our experience on a trip we made to Paracas Bay, located in the department of Ica, Peru. We had the opportunity to take a boat and head towards the Ballestas Islands National Reserve, which are a group of islands that enjoy a rich marine fauna.
¡Saludos a todos en esta gran comunidad! Somos Omar y Dina de @musicandreview y en esta ocasión queremos mostrarles nuestra experiencia en un viaje que realizamos a la Bahía de Paracas, ubicada en el departamento de Ica, Perú. Tuvimos la oportunidad de tomar una lancha y dirigirnos hacia la Reserva Nacional Islas Ballestas, que son un conjunto de islas que gozan de una nutrida fauna marina.
- We start our tour at the facilities of the Paracas Tourist Marina where we manage and pay our entrance fee to the Ballestas Islands National Reserve.
- Iniciamos nuestro recorrido en las instalaciones de la Marina Turística de Paracas donde gestionamos y pagamos nuestra entrada a la Reserva Nacional Islas Ballestas.
At the time of our visit the temperature was 15 degrees Celsius but the speed of the boats and the breeze created a thermal sensation of lower temperature.
- The first attraction that can be observed is the Majestic Candelabrum, which is a geoglyph drawn on the sand at the foot of a dune with more than 170 meters and is considered Cultural Patrimony of the Nation.
Para el momento de nuestra visita la temperatura era de 15 grados centigrados pero la velocidad de las lanchas y la brisa producida creaba una sensación térmica de menor temperatura.
- La primera atracción que se puede observar es el Majestuoso Candelabro, que es un geoglifo dibujado sobre la arena al pie de una duna con más de 170 metros y es considerado Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación.
- From this point and after a few minutes we could reach the group of islands that make up the Ballestas Islands National Reserve.
- A partir de este punto y luego de unos minutos se pudimos llegar al conjunto de Islas que conforman la Reserva Nacional Islas Ballestas.
