A place with a French name in Istanbul; It has a different, special and magnificent view. It is located right on the peninsula, which the Turks call the Golden Horn and foreign tourists call the Golden Horn. Pierre Loti: It is the most beautiful hill on the Bosphorus.
It was named after the French writer Pierre Loti. The French writer frequently visited the coffee house here and wrote his works here. This hill and the tea garden on the hill, which inspired writers, are especially frequented by romantic lovers. It has been the location for love scenes in many black and white Turkish cinemas.

It has a unique location and a perfect view. You can go up the hill by cable car, by car or on foot. I recommend that you go up by cable car, but you should definitely walk down. The road from Pierre Loti hill to Eyüp Sultan is very enjoyable. It's like you feel in an open air museum. In my opinion, especially Eyüp cemetery and its gravestones are worth seeing.
Those who come to visit Pierre Loti Hill can also visit Eyüp Sultan Mosque, Halici and Balad. It is a very central and easy to reach place. Adını Fransız yazar Pierre Loti den almıştır. Fransız yazar burada bulunan kahveyi sık sık ziyaret etmiş ve burada eserlerini yazmıştır. Yazarlara ilham olan bu tepe ve tepede bulunan çay bahçesi özellikle romantik aşıkların uğrak yeridir. Birçok siyah beyaz Türk sinemasında aşk sahneleri için mekan olmuştur.

Pierre Loti tepesinden Eyüp Sultan'a inen yol çok keyiflidir. Kendinizi açık hava müzesi gibidir. Özellikle Eyüp mezarlığı ve mezar taşları bence görülmeye değerdir.
