Coyoacan is a touristic neighborhood in Mexico City, it has small stone streets, and some houses and shops still preserve their colonial architecture. The many outdoor cafes attract many Mexican and foreign tourists.

Coyoacan es un barrio turístico de la ciudad de Mexico, tiene callecitas de piedra, y algunas casas y locales comerciales aún conservan su arquitectura colonial. Los múltiples cafés al aire libre atraen muchos turistas mexicanos y foráneos.

We tried to get there early to have our coffee, but there were so many people that we had to walk through many cafes to find an empty spot to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. We ate some snacks, coffee and teas, until it started to get dark.

After coffee we walked the streets looking for some fun but everything was crowded and the parks were closed because of the pandemic. So apart from the cafes the church and the handicraft market were a good option.

Nosotros tratamos de llegar temprano para tomar nuestro café, pero había tanta gente que tuvimos que recorrer muchos cafés para encontrar un lugar vacío y poder disfrutar el resto de la tarde. Comimos algunos antojitos, café y tes, hasta que empezó a oscurecer.

Después del cafe caminamos las callecitas buscando algo de diversión pero todo estaba lleno de gente y los parques estaban cerrados por la pandemia. Así que aparte de los cafés la iglesia y el mercado artesanal eran una buena opción.

After visiting the market and buying some handicrafts, we continued walking and photographing some murals. In this city is the Casa Azul museum which is nothing more than the former home of the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, although there are other museums this is the busiest. But on this visit I was not able to visit it.

As I said at the beginning Coyoacan is a very beautiful and bohemian city, but if you want to enjoy it completely I advise you to arrive early. I have to go back and I will surely share with you many more pictures.

Después de visitar el mercado y comprar varias artesanías, seguimos caminando y fotografiando algunos murales. En esta ciudad se encuentra el museo Casa Azul que no es más que la antigua casa de la famosa pintora mexicana Frida kahlo, aunque hay otros museos este es el más concurrido. Pero en esta visita no pude conocerlo.

Como dije al principio Coyoacan es una ciudad muy bonita y bohemia, pero siguieres disfrutarla por completo te aconsejo que llegues bien temprano. Yo tengo que volver y seguro les compartiré muchas más fotografías.
