Discover The Northernmost Point Of Vietnam In Ha Giang Province

Welcome all of you to my new post, I'm happy to be here to introduce you to some of the amazing landscapes in Vietnam. I had a 4 day 3 night trip in Ha Giang province where there are many famous destinations. My mother is working at a commune health station, 2 months ago the company she worked for organized a trip to Ha Giang, each employee in the company was allowed to bring one more relative, so I had such a great trip ^^. I had planned to travel to Ha Giang when I was a second year student, but I couldn't because I didn't have the money to do it. Until now, when I had a job and had money, but I didn't have time to travel. And you know, when I heard about this trip from my mom, I was so excited because my company had some problems and I was off for a week, I thought it was the perfect time to travel as well as relieve stress. Let me show you some of the activities and destinations I've been through!

To get to Ha Giang, we had a flight to Hanoi, which is the capital of Vietnam, from here we have to go more 300 kilometers by coach to reach Ha Giang. We landed at Hanoi airport at 6p.m, then we had dinner and walked around Hoan Kiem lake. It's so peaceful here, and there are lots of souvenir shops to sell some special things like mugs, ceramic, clay, etc. After walking around a few times, I ended the evening here with a cool ice cream. I come back to the hotel to rest and prepare to discover in the next day.

The next morning, I had the opportunity to go to The President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a great leader of Vietnam. There are many delegations of tourists coming here to visit the talented president of Vietnam. If you have the opportunity to come to Hanoi, especially Vietnamese citizens, you definitely must not miss this destination. The atmosphere here is very dignified, there are many soldiers guarding the place strictly. Visiting and hearing stories about the president from tour guide, I feel even more in love with the people who fought for the independence of the country I live in now. Because I visited such a dignified place, I wore the most neat and polite outfit that was a white shirt and black trousers. I also took a few souvenir photos with this special place to keep memories, you can see some pictures below!

My mom and me

After visiting the mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, we continue to move to Ha Giang. The road is a bit difficult to go because the surrounding is a mountain pass, there are many winding and steep sections, so I also feel a bit nervous. Sitting on the coach, I could see many high and majestic mountains around, so I took a few pictures. Although it's not very pretty, I still really want to save everything on my album. By the time I arrived in Ha Giang, it was chilly and there was a lot of fog on the top of the mountain. However, I feel lucky because it didn't rain much, so we were able to visit a lot of places very smoothly.

Along the way, we stopped at a tourist destination called Lung Cam Cutural Tourist Village, which sells a lot of things you can buy as gifts for friends and relatives. In front of the village, there are many children standing at the gate, with baskets on their backs containing a lot of canola flowers, they look extremely lovely with innocent smiles. If you want to take pictures with those babies, you have to pay for them. I really liked their laughter, I had some extra candy in my bag and I shared it with them, they looked so happy when they received the little gift I gave them.

After visiting, taking photos and buying souvenirs there, we continue to move to the next place which is Vuong Mansion (or The Palace of Hmong Kings in Ha Giang). Here, I am most impressed with the extremely beautiful peach blossom garden, they are in full bloom, making the scene here become poetic. I was taken by my mother to take some very beautiful pictures here, I absolutely love it. Besides, me, my mother and her colleagues also took a very cute photo together.

Perhaps this is the part I want to tell everyone the most, cuz that's the next place is Lung Cu Flagpole, where this is the northernmost point of Vietnam. From a distance, the flagpole is extremely majestic, the flag above is fluttering in the wind, it is like welcoming me to this wonderful place. Arriving there, it rained a little, but it also cleared up a short time later. There are 2 ways to get to the top where the flagpole is located, if you are an active person, especially like to climb, you can climb 800 steps to reach the top. However, if you want to save energy, you can go by tram, you have to buy a ticket and they will drive you a distance, and you will have to climb 200 more steps to reach the top, and this is how I up there. Reaching the top, I was mesmerized by the scenery in front of my eyes, at this height, I could see the magnificent scenery of the mountain of cones right in front of me, besides I could also check-in with this flagpole. When holding the Vietnamese flag, do you know how I feel? I feel so proud and emotional, I feel like I'm getting more positive energy.

The next day, we went to a new place, it's called Nho Que river, on the way to the river, we stopped at a cafe called Panorama. From this cafe, you can see Nho Que river from afar, it's like a giant snake winding below. I am sure you will like this place, the scenery is so beautiful right in front of your eyes, a cool atmosphere, I think this trip I have completely relaxed after tired working days. This place is suitable for those of you who like to take pictures, you can take tons of pictures at this place without getting bored ^^

After enjoying coffee and taking some pictures, we started moving down Nho Que river for a new experience. We got to see the Nho Que river closer to the cruise experience, as you can see, there are lots of huge rocks appeared in front of us, it was so majestic. Besides, you can rent traditional costumes of the H'Mong ethnic group for 100,000 VND / 1 set. You can see the extremely attractive and beautiful costumes through the pictures below. This is my first time wearing a traditional H'Mong costume, it fits me perfectly. People say I'm pretty in that outfit, which makes me very shy, but I love it. After enjoying the beautiful scenery by cruise, we went to a small restaurant nearby for lunch and returned to the hotel.
